👤This journal is perfect for me because I just started counting points with my weight loss program. The first page has goals and rewards to help keep you on track. I know there are apps for this. I am better at holding myself accountable when I write things down. The cover and pages are strong.
👤I was excited to find a journal. Before ordering, I should have looked at the pages more closely. I like to call my eating plan a food journal because of the title on the front cover. On every entry page, it says "Diet" The word diet has a subliminal message. I couldn't use it. This book should not have the word "Diet" in it. I had high hopes but had to throw it away.
👤I keep a journal of my food. I have purchased 3 more to have ready for use. I like using paper and pen in addition to the computer to track my food, water, and exercise, because I belong to Weight Watchers. The covers have held up well and are small enough to fit in my purse or backpack. I can record 3 months of entries in each journal. Highly!
👤This food journal is wonderful. Tracking points are easier on paper than on the app. This journal allows me to track calories, weight watcher points, or both. I used the FitBook for a long time, but found that I was not using half the book due to not planning out workouts or doing weekly reviews. I use this book more often because I don't waste a page like I would with the Fitbook if I miss a day. I highly recommend this book if you are just starting to track your food and water intake.
👤I'm very happy with this journal. I got the mixed fruit on the cover. There's a page for each day with plenty of room for meals and not a lot of extra fields. The goals and weight tracking pages are simple to use and work well, that's one of the main reasons I bought this journal. The layout of the pages is weird. The daily journal pages are separated by week. There is a two-page weekly summary thread in the middle of the book. It's weird because you have to keep track of what day and week you are on, and then you have to write it down in the middle of the book. It would be better to have a single page at the end of every week where you could reflect on the week that just ended and set goals for the coming week. There is only a single page at the end of the book and I wish there were more pages to write down. The goal setting page is a bit annoying and the first thing it asks you to answer is "Why do I want to lose weight?" There are many reasons to keep a food journal, but not everyone wants to lose weight or use the journal to focus on food. It's not a big deal, but it's weird because the rest of the journal isn't in-your-face about weight loss.

👤The tracker is straight forward and easy to use. I want it to be on a spiral bound.
👤This is what I need to record the things I want to.
👤I recommend this app if you want to track diet progress.
👤Exactly what I needed to know about my food.
👤I try to use a food tracking app, but it is more effective to write down your food in a notebook. I think it is because I can put this on the fridge and it will be in my face, whereas my phone only shows my progress when I open it. Both methods work well together. The sheets are more of a constant reminder about what I eat, while the app is great for calculating details and showing me my macros. I am so grateful to have these tracking sheets because they are the missing piece to my success. They're very nicely made, and it's basically one big pad of connected sheets that you can either flip the old sheets over as you continue tracking, or tear individual sheets off to hang up. The design is modern and easy to follow. I think it would be better to have these in a spiral pad with tear-away lines for those who want to keep the pad connected as they make weekly progress. These sheets are great for keeping you on track.
👤It's a great way to stay on track. Every time I download an app to track my eating and drinking habits, I never use it. I am just like the good old fashioned pen and paper. The print is large and easy to read. It is a thick journal. Look at my photos. The layout is thought out. Most journals have a cover and a top page. I like that because it is easy to write something down quickly. If you want to track your health habits, it is definitely recommended. Definitely recommend.
👤I love to use this to keep myself in check, as I want to become more conscious of my health. I love filling in my meals, my workouts, and how much water I've been drinking from it. It has been great to see my habits and be able to change them using this notepad.
👤I wanted to keep track of my health habits. I use this pad to keep track of my health as I try to get into shape. I'm excited to use this tomorrow. There is enough room to write in every section.
Their exclusive online body-fat calculator and graphics help to show which exercises target which muscles and a guide for measuring body fat. Their health journal makes it easy to record every bite and keep yourself on track, it's goal-focused. The first section of your logbook contains a place for before/after photos as well as current/goal body measurements, and 132 pages that provide enough space to record breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and even water intake. The weight loss journal can show you what is and isn't working for your routine, allowing you to track your food and nutrition for up to four months. You can track your weight, body fat percentage, and more with the fitness planner, which captures a complete view of nutrition, sleep, mood and workouts. Their nutrition planner has a chart with calories and macros for common foods to help you stay on track.
👤There were no upside down pages. Sometimes prints come out wrong, even if there was no fault. It is not that big of a deal. The book is thorough. I suffer from serious depression and I like how it asks me how the workout went. Sometimes working out makes me feel better and other days I am dead in the gym gazing. Highly recommended. I got a double pack of fitness and nutrition. The nutrition one gives you a grocery list. The calories aren't entirely accurate, but it's good to know the ball park of what you're in without having to check every single label of every food item You can get great workout exercises from the fitness ones. I never thought to do some of them. The focus is on which muscle group.
👤I use this to track clients and their workouts. I take it to the gym and it is handled fairly. It has held up well over the past three months, but is starting to look a little dog earred. It has drawings and exercises suggestions for those who need reminders of which exercises work which parts of the body. Two of my clients bought this journal because of my recommendation, and they love it. They have control over their self-efficacy. I use it because it's easy to carry and it's not full of frills. Rather than taking out my phone to record everything, I use this to let my clients know what I'm doing instead of looking like I'm texting. It allows for exercises, dates, names, cardio, warm up, cool down, reps, and sets to be recorded in a format that is easy to use.
👤This book is great. There is enough room to log lots of exercises and to quickly track and analyze progress. The layout of the log is thoughtful and easy to use, it allows you to comprehensively log not only the structure of the workout but energy levels, future improvement ideas or current achievements. This journal is the best solution for me because it has everything I need and is a lot quicker to remember than scrolling through the app menu. I think the book could use a little expansion on the cardio section if there was one slight adjustment. It would be nice to log time intervals, running cadence, or other details that get a little crowded in the small cardio section of each page.
👤This has suited my purposes well as a workout journal. I don't need a book that has room to log my food intake, I just want something where I can plan my workout in advance, and review past weights/reps. I need it to be large enough to write in. There are few options. The journal works well. The cover is very ugly and there is a spelling mistake on it. I'm not a bad person, but I think someone should have at least a little bit of an idea of what's going on.
👤I love it! I wish there was one every year. It seems like it will be by 12 weeks. I love the ease of use, each day I have space to write information on warm up's, cool down's, accurate workouts per muscle group guide, and more. What else can you ask for out of a book? I was worried about it being a spiral bound book but now that I have it, I prefer the flexibility of the book and have no issues with how well made the plastic Spiral is! I highly recommend this for anyone on a lifestyle change.
The perfect gift is a premium white gift box. The durable cover of the journal has spaces to record food. Keep track of water consumption by entering up to 5 meals. The log pages contain a place to calculate your daily calories, Carbohydrates, Fat andProtein. The notebook is side bound. User data page to help keep it personal. The page dimensions are 3 1/2 x 5 1/2. The VA certified BookFactory as a Veteran-Owned Firm. Their books are produced in Ohio, USA.
👤It's a good journal for people who want to keep track of calories, but don't care about the details, and for people who don't care about the details, but want to watch their eating habits. It's small and convenient to carry around in a purse or pocket, because it's about the size of my hand. I wish it had an elastic band to keep it closed, that would be perfect. I use this diary to keep track of my daily eating and drinking habits. I don't keep a log of calories or anything. My goal is to see how balanced my diet is over a full week, instead of day by day: enough fruits and vegetables, too much meat, ample water? Since I write everything down in a journal, I'm more aware of mindless snacking. The last section of the page has a note about physical activity. I prefer the paper version of my food diary. It's easy to make entries and flip through and see what's happening. Sometimes the "throwback" methods are the best.
👤Beyond upset. This is ridiculous and I might have read the details more thoroughly. The money was wasted. It was too small. I can't write about this. It can fit in my purse, that is the only good thing about it. Very disappointed. Never again.
👤I have begun the diet. The book has helped to keep track of the two. Don't eat too much. There is not a lot of room on these pages. It is small and portable so you can carry it with you wherever you go. The book is small and sturdy and the pages are thick. It's easy to keep track of basic meals. The bottom notes section is where I put activities mood energy levels.
👤I really like this food journal. It's 5 inches long and 3 inches wide. I use the activity section at the bottom of the notes for supplements. I put those in with my own check boxes. I purchase food journal books to make sure I eat the right amount and drink the right amount. I like that the 8 glasses of water are listed at the top of the page. It encourages me to remember what day it is and the date. I was not happy with how large and cumbersome many of the similar journals were, but this one is perfect size. This may work for a person with large handwriting who wants to write a lot of information about what they ate. It works well for a short, blunt, jot down that helps keep track. I will be buying this one regularly.
👤I like this journal. I like how it fits in my purse and it has meal times instead of breakfast, snack, lunch, and dinner. You can check off how much water you drink in a day. You only log calories, calories. I want to log things. I only gave it 4 out of 5 stars because it is too small, which is the only thing I don't like about it. You can enter your food on 3 lines. Milk, egg whites, toast, butter, and other things are listed individually, but only 3 lines are needed to enter them. I don't like how small the spaces are to record your food and nutrition values. I don't write that small. I would give it 5 stars if it were just a little bit bigger and with more lines to log your food in.
The Weekly Fitness Planner page is your fitness planning space. Even if your life is busy, you can still make training and nutrition a priority. Each week, the Weekly Check-In asks you to rate your energy levels, joint health, and mindset. KIND is a journal for women. It keeps you accountable over 90 days. The pages are for achieving diet and fitness goals. There are gentle reminders for self-love and reflection. Daily Journaling is a way to track what you eat, how much you exercise, how much sleep you get, and how much water you drink. Plan your meals a week in advance and keep track of your pantry. The habit and progress trackers can be used to monitor the changes. All-in-one - food diary, workout tracker, meal planner and weight loss journal. It's a size 8.5′′ x 6′′. It's risk-free. If this diet journal isn't life-changing to you, return it within 30 days for a full refund.
👤I was not happy with the apps that were failing to do the job. I like to journal. So far, so good. The purchase was made to see the progress I've made, so we're not quite that far along yet. I didn't make the best food choices on the bad days, so I had to make better food choices. If possible, keep it in the kitchen. It has prevented me from reaching into the bag of chocolate chips if I just saw it. An added bonus of a hard copy... It probably wasn't designed with that in mind, but having the book sit there and "roll it's eyes" at you when you think about junk food has been an added little guide.
👤I have a lot of fitness journals and I'm picky. This journal has everything I need to keep track of my food, water intake, physical activity, weight, medications, and energy level, with a place for notes. Positive reinforcements and a dotted journal page can be found prior to each new week. I use the dotted page as a grocery list when I run out of items. If you want to see if you are on track to meet your goal, you can use the line graph to plot your weekly weight and goal weight. It is perfect for places to write food ideas. Anyone who wants to be thorough and anyone who has a medical condition or food allergies that cause them symptoms will benefit from this journal. It's much better than an app. I have not missed an item or a day. Everything is tracked.
👤BUY IT if you're not sure if you should buy it. I look for everything in a journal in this journal. The mind and body are healthy. I have been looking for a journal for years to log everything. I wouldn't use a blank journal or a planner page in the other journals I found. Trying to find a journal with a nice cover was just as important. This journal is fun and motivational. The faux leather cover is simple. Keep this journal in stock. I would love to use this type of journal after 90 days. I wish they would send this in a box instead of an envelope. It was not a big deal. Thank you!
👤This journal is a legit lifesaver. It has everything you need to know about your diet, goals, mindset, and exercise. It is useful for my grocery lists to make sure I am not under eating or straying from my healthy lifestyle. It's useful to keep me accountable for a healthy diet, something that can keep me from under eating so much and to get the nutrition I need.
👤This was one of the best purchases of the year. This little journal has helped me figure out what was working and what wasn't in my weight loss journey. I use the app daily and find it necessary to write things down. It is great for keeping track of WW's "blue dot" days because I keep track of workouts and my vitamins. Keeping track of my healthy eating habits has helped me progress past my plateau. You can use the page in the back for daily weight tracking, but you can also use it for other things. The focus is not entirely on your weight but rather your overall health, which is why the place for measurements is in this workbook. If you were keeping track of calories, this would work just as well. Athletes are looking to gain muscle. It has bits of advice and encouragement in between weeks. It is a nice looking object, with a faux leather cover. I have the brown one and it looks like the photos. I recommend this for anyone on a similar path. I ordered a new one so I can keep doing it for months to come.

👤I'm a fan of Clever Fox. I decided to try this one out since my favorite food tracking planner by Kunista Co was out of stock, so I have had multiple different versions of their various different journals. I really like the other Clever Fox products, but this one didn't do it for me. The journal is very well made. There is no bleed through on the pages. The cover is very cute and reminds me of the design of the Scribbles that Matter. You can use this one journal for six months of food logging and tracking because there are a lot of pages. The pocket in the back of the book is nice and I like the included stickers. I hate the design. Its busy and confusing. There are only two starting points and an ending point page. I feel like they need to break down the goals and have multiple check in pages to make sure they are on track. I hate that the daily tracking pages become a thick wall. The design of the book and lack of long term and short term goal tracking pages made me not have to keep track of anything. This set up didn't work for me. The Kunista Co Food and Wellness Journal is spiral bound.
👤The quality is high for the price. It's perfect for any eating plan. Would work for a medical food log. It is a daily journal. The paper quality is very high. It is smooth without being slick. No bleeding-through. It is a well made journal with a how-to-use guide, ribbon bookmarks, and 3 sheets of stickers for fun. There is a check box to rate activity but no other place to add exercise. It's a journal about food. There are 16 sheets of dot grid paper in the back that you can use to add anything you want. It's construction is well thought out and worth the money.
👤I have a weekly budget and now a food plan from Clever Fox. I was excited to see this because I have been working hard on my eating habits and thought this would be a great way to keep track of them. There are things that could use improvement, but it is set up well. There should be a bigger spot for a daily fitness activity. The water tracker would be perfect for this set up. The daily food journals should be broken up with a monthly review. A spot in the back where you can track weight trends is a good place to start. I am excited to see what Clever Fox comes up with, it will work for what I need at the moment.
👤I received an email from Clever Fox Planner. Even though I don't use their planners anymore, I am still subscribed to their email list and I have purchased their planners in the past. The new food tracker was introduced in this email. They had a deal: if you bought one planner from Amazon, they would send you another one for free. They did a promotion for their book. I set weight loss goals for the new year. My main motivation is my health and longevity. This is a food tracker. I set it up last night. If something changes in my opinion of a product or if I discover something that will be helpful to others in making a purchase, I will change my review. I wanted to give some insight to help future customers, because this is a new product for them. The weight paper is the same as the planners for the Clever Fox Food Journal. Don't expect any bleeding or ghosting on these pages. I use both Ink Joy and Flair in my journals. The starting point has fields for your name, weight, height, and measurements. I suppose you can choose to measure and keep track of what you want, but they suggest the following: neck, chest, bicep, waist, hips, thigh, and calf. There is a chart for where I am now and where I want to be. At the bottom of the page is a "Reward if Achieved" as well as a target date and signature. Fancy! On the opposite page is a chance to document your why, how you will feel, and what steps you will take to achieve your goal. The journal begins! It is a daily journal. You can also track your weight, sleep, water, body fat%, and caffeinated drinks, as well as your breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. You can track your moods, your energy, and your activity. You can track if you're free of sugar, alcohol, nicotine, and other harmful substances. Lots of tracking. You can track serving size, calories, fat, and carbs as you track your food. At the bottom of the page, you can find a tally of everything. I'm not sure what subtotal means, but I might use that field to put how much I ate for the day. I'm not sure. The inside layout of the journal is a combination of teal and forest green. I'm not sure why they chose that color, but it is easy to see and calm. I like it. There are three pages of stickers in the journal. Some of the stickers have calories burned on them. "No excuses, no complaints, greatness takes time" is a motivational phrase. The third sheet has circle-style, minimalist stickers - "take medication", "track calories", and "journal". I was pretty excited about the stickers, but what Planner Babe doesn't like stickers, amiright? But. There isn't much room to put them in the journal. I put some on the bottom near the totals. These stickers are great to remind you to use the journal. Clever Fox, please keep the stickers. After 26 weeks of daily pages, there is a measurement tracker where you can see your weight and body fat percentage. The page is similar to the one at the beginning of the journal, with the date, an after picture, final measurements, and a field to write how you can improve if you didn't reach your goal. A spread of products for the five basic food groups that you consume on a regular basis is after that page. If you were eating a real food and you didn't have a label to track serving size, calories, fat, or carbs, this would be very useful. It's a great place to put your favorite foods. There are grid dot pages in the back of the journal. This would be a great place to record your feelings about your journey. The layout helps achieve goals, and it has fun colors with textured covered. It would be nice to have a pocket for the stickers. I use the elastic on the back of the journal to hold the stickers since the journal stays closed.

👤I have to say that I have been on a diet for many years. I don't like tracking my food. I am only able to lose consciousness when I track my food. grrrrrr. When it's easy for me to do, is when the key to consistently tracking is. If I'm going to be gone for a few days, I can keep something on my kitchen counter. I like seeing it in black and white on paper because it has some advantages. It's easier for me. No opening the computer, getting on the website and typing in food for each meal. By the time I did that, I could have tracked my entire day. I'm on WW and there are places for calories. I track the points. There is a "notes" page on the back of the tracking page. I can either make a grocery list or write down a quick recipe. It's easy to go back and read my days and get ideas for meals. This seems to be a very well thought out journal. My favorite one so far.
👤I bought this 3-pack for my family. The cover and backing of the notebooks are sturdy and I like the notes section on the back of the pages. I had to write in pencil because my pens would bleed through the page. The lines are short, and I found myself abbreviating some of my food. The only problem with this food diary is that you have to use it for something. Only two people in my family have used it. It's a solid product and I like it that it's easier to write down my food intake on a piece of paper than it is to use an app on my phone.
👤They should change the section headings for breakfast, lunch, dinner snacks and totals to make them more narrow. It should be fine if you have to do them vertically. I would make it wide enough to fit a snack. The amount, carbs and fat columns are only going to be 2 digits, so they don't need to be so big. The space freed up will allow the food items to be wider. The item is the perfect size for a purse or work bag. I use a pencil for this because the paper is a good thickness for me. I received the order yesterday and will update after a few weeks. The 'Time' area is in theheader. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and 3 snacks are included on this daily sheet. I'm using it to change 'Time' to 'Cal per day'.
👤This journal is a great way to keep track of your eating habits. I use these journals to keep track of portion control as a weight loss friend. I have lost over 10 pounds in 5 weeks by keeping track of my portions. I use these journals as my support instead of paying someone to make me accountable. If the portions are too big for my body size, it will not equal weight loss. Due to having to write it down, I am aware of how much extra stuff I was eating. I tried online programs, but nothing beats having a booklet in your food prep area or on your desk as a daily reminder. I will continue to monitor my weight when I reach my ideal weight.

👤Its so cute! I would love to get a new color but it's not in stock.
👤I can't write out my food because the sections are so small. I end up writing over the line and into the sections since I'm not calculating all the macro nutrients. I got the golden color. It is pretty. I will probably start again with a larger notebook or weeklyplanner after I use it up for 3 months. I want to use it to log my food for my own accountability and not bother with the grams and calories, so a very simple planners will work better for me.
👤There is a lot of pages in this planner. I used a fine line marker to write in my days and months, but it bled through to the back of the pages. I am not a fan of seeing ink on the back of the pages, so having done the first month like this, it is very disappointing.
👤It looks like a good way to track, but it's a tiny thing. I don't have neat, tidy, small handwriting. This will be hard to fill out. Other than that. If you have better handwriting than me.
👤I picked up a food journal after seeing my sister. I like the idea of tracking food for both weight loss and food allergy/discomfort reasons, and figured this journal was set up in a way that made that easy. The layout of the pages is good, but I wish I could have gotten the standard-sized journal. It's a bit harder to write in because it's a pocket size. My journal came printed backwards, so this is probably a complete fluke. The pages start at the end and are upside down if you open the cover. That makes it more difficult to use.
👤The small version is not as big as I expected. I was initially disappointed in the size but it turns out to be a positive because I can slip the journal in my pocket or bag so I can track more consistently. The journal pages are colorful and the stickers are fun. This is a very useful tool.
👤I use an app to track my food, but it got to my head. I started to think about all the values. I'm loving the pocket size so far. It's perfect in my bags. The pages are large enough for me to write. It is highly recommended for anyone who wants to try a different method of tracking.
