1. Ninja IG651 Griddle Dehydrate Thermometer

Ninja IG651 Griddle Dehydrate Thermometer

Ninja's most powerful drill. 500F independently powered grill grate creates high-heat char-grilled results. The FG500-series grills have a direct heating element. Flat top bbq grills can't cook food with the grate and can't cook it with direct high heat. The temperature controls allow for fast cooking. Hood up or hood down cooking is when you want to cook fast, even at high heat. The hood should be kept up for intense high heat and direct bottom heat. The smart cook system has a thermostat. The Foodi Smart Thermometer can be used to achieve the perfect doneness from rare to well. It's all done at a touch of a button, no more guessing or cooking. Air fry crisp with up to 75% less fat than deep frying, using the included 4-qt basket. Grill, BBQ Griddle, Air Crisp, Roast, Bake, Broil and Dehydrate functions are enabled by the wide temperature range. The family-sized culture is called the XL family-sized culture. The grill grate can fit 6 steaks, mains, and sides at the same time. You can cook a platter of food with the Flat top BBQ griddle.

👤I had no idea what to expect with the Ninja Food Smart grill and griddle, except that it would be large. I took a chance that the kitchen real estate would be worth it. The Ninja Foodi pressure cooker/air fryer/steam crisp appliance has a steep learning curve. If you get the Smart Thermometer version, the instructions will help you determine the temperature you want to aim for. Ninja does a lot of work for me. The grill marks are even better than you would expect from an outdoor propane grill, as Steak, chicken, and hamburgers come close to the flavor you'd expect from an outdoor propane grill. You can sear sous-vide meats on the grill without cooking them through. The booklet has some key recipes and techniques to help you learn the grill and settings. The sweet chili chicken breasts were delicious, but they were cooked before the set time ended. It's great for grilled cheese sandwiches and pancakes because the griddle accessory fits on the grill pan to provide a flat surface. The Foodi grill has an air fryer basket. Ninja sells a small basket that allows you to grill and air fry together, but I haven't seen it for sale here yet. I like the fact that the air fryer basket gives me more surface area than either the Foodi 14-in-1 or the Philips XL air fryer. The Ninja grill's top is so high that you can bake in taller pans than I expected. The grill/griddle does not sear the top and bottom sides at the same time, but closing the lid will start to cook food from the top, like an oven. The air fry option requires you to close the lid. The grill will tell you when it's time to flip if you use the timer. When it's time to take the food out, the smart thermometer will tell you when it's time to rest. The timing is accurate and the rest time ensures that the food won't be over cooked. The basket can be washed in the dishwasher. The grill grate developed a black surface that can be picked up in a dishwasher. I will wash it by hand if the food is stuck on. This grill doesn't replace a lot of appliances, but it does serve as a dual grill and airfryer. I now have a way to grill steaks, fish, chicken, and hamburgers in the off-season. The weather may prevent cooking outside. I will pull out this grill during bad weather. Wesselmann was named after Deborah Lee Wesselmann.

👤I like my original ninja grill but this is not very good. The grill plate had a thick black oily coating on it. I assumed it was from production and washed in the dishwasher. It was still oozing out after washing in the dishwasher three times. Do not buy any other Ninja products if you are angry.

👤The probe failed after 3 uses. They wouldn't send a replacment probe and suggested I return the unit via Fedex. It's going back to Amazon. Done with the company and their products.

👤If you are familiar with the Ninja product line and you have been waiting for them to come out with an appliance that is an entire kitchen in one, then you will be happy to know that they are coming out with an appliance that is an 8-quart fourteen in one appliance. I will save my report on how it performs until I actually use it, because it is a brand new product and not widely available. A review about a new product that was just opened this morning is more important than anything else. That is not possible. Instead, you will get a point by point real life report on each of the features, improvements, concerns, and issues and a series of photos showing you close-up views that the ad page ignores. You can come back later to get a more in-depth, long term summary of how it will perform in your kitchen. The tour isn't important in any particular order. I would like you to read it to the end. The first thing you will notice is how heavy this appliance is. The dimensions listed on this page are accurate, but they don't convey the reality of this being on your kitchen counter. I am lucky to have more counter space in my house than anywhere else I have lived, but I also love to cook and am a gadget buff. I have more small appliances in my kitchen. I like to keep the ones I use most out and ready to use, a luxury I haven't had before. My pressure cooker is put in my pantry for storage because it doesn't get used every day. One of the goals of this product is to find a device that can replace many, and that is certainly Ninja's goal as well. This thing takes up a lot of countertop space and requires even more while in use. It is too heavy to carry around when I am not using it. It can do so much that I might just get used to the fact that I have to give up a lot of space. The Smart Lid is a separate subject from the heavy top. It takes up a third of the device's height and is not replaceable, so you have to swing it on its hinge off of the bottom part. I can't measure it because it's not being removed. It accounts for half of the weight of the whole thing. Before you order this thing, make sure to take a picture of how much space it will take above the unit and to the left side. There is a large extension of the base to help prevent it from tipping over. The return of knobs to operate some functions is a trend I like. It was getting to the point that some devices had more than one button that looked the same, when they could have had one knob to choose from. Only the choices for the major function (Pressure, Steam, Air Fry) that you selected with the big robust switch, which has it's own discreet set of lights, illuminate this product. There are a few buttons that are separated and marked. They are helping to reverse the trend that was popular to use touch sensitive buttons, which require your finger to be clean to operate. You can feel the mechanical push buttons that Ninja uses, even if you don't see the status light. There is a choice that makes us tear our hair out. What kind of bowl should we use in our multi cooker, rice cooker, air fryer, etc. Teflon, bare aluminum, and even a new type of ceramic coating that is diamond hard, have no negatives associated with other non-stick coating, which is why a lot of people refuse to use them. This is a premium appliance and deserves the best and they chose the ceramic lining, which comes in a basic version and an ultra-premium micro-ceramic version. I use micro-ceramic on a couple of things. I absolutely love it. The only downside is that it can crack if you strike it with a hard instrument, so it requires some amount of reasonable care. The WIRE. Food cooked in this appliance will need to be placed in a wire rack. It is only a matter of time before they scratch or damage the non-stick coating because they lay right on it. I don't understand why Ninja can't make part or all of their wire rack out of something similar to teflon. It is what it is and the wire rack is useful. I said that the president of Ninja should order one of these to see how sloppy they are thrown into cartons as if they were a discount store blue light special. The first time I was with Ninja, my impression was not very impressive, it was three hundred and thirty bucks. The biggest callout may be the Smart Lid. They had to do a lot of strange things in order to squeeze all of those functions into one device. One that we rarely see is the element on an ordinary kitchen electric stove that is upside down and fully exposed. It looks like that because it is. The big electric fan behind the element makes it work as an air fryer. The big hot stove element is exposed when the lid is open and resting on the hinge. It can be very hot when the lid is open. If you are teaching cooking to young people, you want to make sure a responsible adult is around. I didn't use the word awkward to mean that I don't like it, it's just something that takes a lot of getting used to. Every time you lift the lid, they insist that you not use the handle on the right side, as you are told to do. There is a handle molded into the front of the switch. I am right handed. It had to get used to having my hand in front of my body as I lift the lid. If I train myself to only use my left hand, I may be able to solve my problem. It is something to know and get used to. If you lift the lid after cooking with steam, the condensation will fall toward the fixed hinge. The reviews I saw all mentioned that this product was new and only reviewers had a chance to touch it. No one has said if there are any real concerns or if the manufacturer has something more than an opinion on the drip, but I just give it a quick wipe with my dishtowel whenever I raise the lid. One of the main goals of the makers of high end appliances is to make their products easier to use without reading the instruction book. I was going to throw my old pressure cooker in the trash because I couldn't remember the sequence of buttons it took to turn it on. I wanted to get my hands on something better. This one wins a lot of time with me because of the large easy to read displays, the logical way the buttons and knobs work, and how they only present you with the options you need to be aware of. I would like to see an improvement in the setting for air fry, where you can choose from ten options by rotating the knob. The problem is that you want to get back to the number one spot. You have to reverse the knob and cycle back through all of the options to get back to a lower number on a device like this. My understanding is that you can order today for immediate delivery and that the unit I described is a full production unit. I still believe that no one can open the thing, pop it out and proclaim it great or not so great, or say much about how it cooks. I will use those long term opinions for a while before giving you my opinion on food and some recipes you may not have thought of. I hope my first impressions helped you. I would say that this model is aimed at larger families, probably with larger kitchens. If you are an RVer, this things can do almost anything you want, but not take up all of your storage space. The tradeoff is that it can replace a lot of things in your kitchen, but it is a heavier piece of cookware. I have a pressure cooker, a slow cooker, and two air fryers. If you are starting out in life with a kitchen, I would strongly recommend it. I will update this with feedback I get from my cooking site and other groups I belong to. Thank you for reading.

👤This machine is amazing. It exceeded my expectations. In the past week, I have cooked ribeyes, shrimp, pork loin, whole chicken and fries chicken. I can't believe how well it cooks and you don't have to deal with grease splatter. It takes less than a minute to put the grate and grease catcher in the dish washer. It was almost no heat. Don't hesitate if you're wondering if you should buy.

👤Great machine! We started with the Original Ninja, but it was small, so we started with 2 people. It's good for two to four people. I am ready for the big game. Bring it on! At some point, I could use my large gas grill outside. Nah!

👤I can't believe how much we enjoy this grill. I have always wanted to make steak inside without the grease and smoke. This is the answer if you want to cook grilled food inside. We've tried other things. I didn't think it would be that good. You can get a nice crust on your steak with no smoke, no grease and the clean up is easy. The preset for the thermometer is a little off. To get a medium steak, we set it to rare. You can set it to turn off at any temperature you want. I just want to buy it. If you are on the fence, jump over and get it. You will not be sorry.

👤I love this thing. I thought the older version was great but this device does a better job of getting doneness right. It seems to be an upgrade from the previous generation. This version is easier to clean as well. The compartment on the side is great for storing the temperature probe.

👤I received my Ninja FG551 Foodi Smart XL today, I thought. okay Let's give this sucker a try, you've always hated making meat. I mean really good. I used the thermometer that comes with it, and it was close to or better than restaurant steak. This Ninja foodi is very good. I'm going to cook for my girlfriend and tell her I made it myself. I know I'm smart.

👤I bought this after seeing the commercials. It's easy to use and cook. I used to cook it well. It was perfect to grill steak and chicken. The settings make it easy to cook a steak. It took me 1/2 the time to cook sausage from frozen on the grill. Very happy with the purchase. A guide is included to help with cook times. Highly recommended.

👤I bought mine from the store. Best choice ever! I like my grill and pot. I have cooked steaks which were perfect. I was able to cook the best steak I have ever eaten. The burgers came out amazing. Can't forget the cake! I didn't have the first grill. I can say that it is worth the money. Just do it!

👤I love my Ninja Foodie. I use it daily.

👤The reviews said the oven was hard to clean, so I decided not to buy it. I bought this instead and haven't regretted it yet. It is very easy to clean. I use it to cook all sorts of things and prefer it to my skillet, instant pot, and oven as everything cooks so fast. It only takes a few minutes to heat up and the food cooks twice as fast using other methods. The biggest selling point was the speed of cooking and it was one of the reasons I bought it. I like air- fried broccoli, grilled salmon, french fries, chicken wings, and chicken breasts. I have used it to cook pancakes and just used the air-fry setting. The built-in thermometer is one feature I really like. You just tell it you're cooking chicken, put the meat in the oven, and wait for the temperature to go up. No more running to the kitchen to make sure the meat is done. This product is very good.

👤I use Pressure Cooking, Air Frying and Sous Vide in my kitchen. The idea of having a single appliance that could perform the tasks of 3 different devices was something I jumped at. The features and basic operations of the FD302 are summarized in the ad copy and previous reviews. I'll compare the individual appliances that I use with the Foodi to see how it stacks up against them. I've been using an Instant Pot Ultra for a couple of years, and I love it. The built-in functions for cooking various foods such as rice and eggs work well, and can be changed with the saved preset. I use the Porridge setting for my oats, and I cook chickpeas without presoaking using another preset that I've stored. I love using the saute function to sear meats and prepare a one-pot meal. The Foodi is capable of all of these things, but there aren't separate settings for them. These variations of pressure cooking are stored as preset. The Ninja Foodi needs to be programmed using the Pressure function. The Instant Pot's automatic pressure valve to the Foodi's must be manually closed or opened depending on the function. I've been using the Power Air Fryer for several years and usually just program it for the time and temperature I want to use on a particular food, rather than using its preset. I've only used the Ninja for this function a few times, but it seems to work the same. The advantage is non - approximately equal. This was one of the main reasons I chose to get the Ninja, and it turned out to be my biggest disappointment. I knew that there was no mechanical circulation of the water inside the Ninja's pot, but I thought it would still do an acceptable job. I found out that the Foodi only has limited sous-dimer function in temperature and time adjustments. * The water temperature can be adjusted in steps of 5 degrees. I usually program 131 or 132 degrees for a steak in sous-vide. The difference between 130 and 135 degrees on meat is significant. The Foodi is limited to 190 degrees, whereas the first food I intended to cook called for 194 degrees. There were two failures on temperature. The cooking time can be adjusted only in steps of 15 minutes, although I'll have to admit that this isn't a huge problem, as sous-vide cooking times can vary widely with minimal impact on the final. There is a limit on the cooking time. There are some instances for cooking times up to 32 or 48 hours that are not available to the general public. The best was yet to come. I tried to figure out how long it would take to heat the water and how tightly it would hold the temperature. The water was heated in an acceptable amount of time, but when the Foodi told me to add food, I found it to be too hot. I used 3 thermometers to check it out. They all agreed. I tried a second test today after waiting a few days. The water was set to 130 degrees. I measured it at 155 degrees after the heating cycle was over. It is clearly unacceptable and a disaster for sous vide cooking. It's possible that I received a faulty unit, so I'm not giving a big thumbs-up. It's clear that this is a compromise device that lacks the refinement of separate appliances in an attempt to do too many functions in a mediocre fashion. One size doesn't fit all. I prefer my separate pieces, the Instant Pot and the sous vide circulator. I think this is ok. I spoke with customer service about the wild inaccuracy I found in the programmed temperature after my disappointing results with the sous-vide function on the Foodi. They didn't give a reason for the discrepancy, but they told me to cut the power cord and send a replacement for the cost of shipping. I went to the sous-vide function after the replacement arrived to repeat the test that failed the first time. The results were almost the same. I set the time to 2 hours and accepted the temperature of 130 degrees. The temperature was 149 degrees when the preheat was finished and the food was to be added. I continued to measure at 15-minute intervals for the duration, and saw that the temperature began to drift down at the 1:45 mark. This is more like cooking sous vide in a dishwasher than a precision cooking device.

👤If you will, you will see a Ninja innovation. I'm a Ninja Fan. I use their device all the time. I use their foodi all the time. Ninja is reliable and versatile, two things that I like in my kitchen. But... You were aware that there would be a "but" coming. The problem with the air fryer was that it would be better to grill the food than air-fry it. I could do it and the results were acceptable, but I always thought there should be a better way. We are here. Foodi does it. In spades. It's a very well designed and engineered indoor grill with the added benefits of air frying that I love so much along with baking/roasting functions and dehydration. I'll hit these in turn, but this thing is awesome. The main event is indoor grilling. This is exactly what Ninja does here. It's not designed to provide square feet of grilling space, but for four hamburgers, two-three steaks, unless it's my steak, in which case it barely fits one. Yes. It's right-sized, I like steak or five-six thighs. It uses the same system as my other Foodi but it works crazy with the grill application. The grill plate is heavy and requires a lot of warm up time before you cook. The warm up gets the grill plate nice and hot, put the food in there, and you have a nice, hot grill. It's going to be great to eat jerk chicken in the winter. I made grilled garlic Zatar naan with this. The result was fantastic, it took about two minutes after warm up to finish. It was hard to keep away from other people in the house, but I made it. It's mine! You can make your own. Grilling meats, seafood, and other items go just as smoothly. It came back up to temp fast and cooking time wasn't delayed because you can open the Foodi to check on things. If you oil the meat you get grill marks, and results for meat are fantastic. This comes with an air-fry basket so I can rest my steak while I cook. It's not worth doing up a bunch of fries. Air frying works the same as my other Foodi, with the same results. Buffalo wings are also a natural. I don't know what Ninja does, but I don't care. I eat well that night because I push a couple of buttons. Baking and roasting work well. I roast meat using the air fry basket since I want the air circulation to be all around the meat. A small roasting rack will work here if the dimensions are off. I always sear a roast before putting it in an oven, and that step is still required with this device. The Foodi is ready in about five minutes, whereas the oven takes about three hours to heat up. I'm happy that it's big enough to handle a medium roast. Dehydrating is a new feature in the Ninja stable, and it works better for smaller batches than my dedicated dehydrator. A little hacking will increase the amount of food you can dehydrate here. For backpacking meals, I put pasta in food saver bags with cheese powder and powdered milk. I have a cup of boiling water and Mac and cheese. It is pretty easy to care for. The interior pieces are dishwasher safe. There's a grease collector on the back of the device that's easy to clean. This thing is perfect. It has a large footprint. The physical size doesn't matter if it's something that's going to be used a lot. Counter space allocation is a given if it's a useful device. Foodi is a big part of the house. It's an incredibly valuable addition to my kitchen and even only having it for a short time it's already become a nearly indispensable part of my kitchen equipment. It's great.

👤The base is cracking and we have only used it a few times. I would guess that it has never been abused and has made at least 15 smoothies. We put a small amount in the bottom. I thought I would explain that Ninja want to charge us 19.99 for a replacement even though it's under warranty. I have a faulty product that is breaking apart and is potentially dangerous and I am being told to make sure it is under warranty. I was told by the rep on the phone that the warranty information should be public before you buy it. You have to use the warranty before you can hold the product. If I had known that I would be paying over half the cost for a warranty replacement of a unit that is clearly faulty, I wouldn't have bought it. We should not have to pay to have a faulty product replaced.

👤I bought this unit a year ago. I would have rated it 5 stars if it worked in the middle of a pineapple smoothie with no frozen fruit or ice. The motor stopped working. I use this several times a week for a small smoothie. I was told that I had to pay a fee to cover replacement shipping when I tried to use the warranty services. I am not willing to spend this much money on a product that only costs 35.00 and will be buying a different brand. I am not happy with this product. We broke the glass pitcher after I had a blender that did the job for 8 years. I will return to that brand.

👤A co-worker told my husband that there was a Ninja Food Processor for $35 on Amazon. He ordered it as soon as he got home. Since then, we have used it every day. The Ninja Food Processor is a great addition to your home, it makes cutting vegetables, smoothies, and crushing ice so much easier. We were able to use it to make a frozen cocktail. The best margaritas we have had so far were these. The reason is that the little guy can chop ice so quickly that we don't bother with it. It has two containers, two lids, three blades, the motor and the lids. The pitcher is large. I had to get used to it. Press on the top to get it going and talk about power. I regret using the Ninja Food Processor. We never had one because I thought it was too expensive for our household. I don't think we could ever be without one. Ever. I don't have a lot of serious cons, but I have had trouble attaching the motor to the lid. I forgot to remove one of the food processing blades and it made my vegetables puree. If you want to chop something quickly, you should get rid of one of them blades. I didn't get the appearance I wanted, but it didn't ruin my dinner. The Ninja Food Processor should be used by anyone who can afford it. It makes life much easier because there are so many things you can do with this. I can make a smoothie with just one press of the button and I have been eating better. The motor is quiet and it's not something that would cause sensory overload. I highly recommend this item to anyone. Make sure you read the directions and learn how to use it. Enjoy your Ninja!

There is a I was excited when I got the Ninja Foodi. I was dancing around the house and ran into a wall, "What is so great about this stupid Ninja Foodie?" I died in my tracks. I didn't know. I was not sure why I wanted one when I was thinking about it. I took it out of the delivery and almost fainted. It sat on my stove top and I said to myself, "What have I done?" I was horrified when I looked at this machine. I was overwhelmed by the book. I was going to rationalize the presence of this monster to my family. I can help you out if you're in that situation right now or afraid of it. This is a big machine. It is similar to the large round crock pots before they made them larger. There is an additional rack that is attached to it. There is an air fryer basket and an inner bowl with a ceramic coating. It also has a pressure lid. I will break this down for you. The book is called a Cookbook. There are two books. A small instruction manual can help you decide what to make and how to do it. A basic cookbook can be used to start with some basic recipes. The size of the machine. The size is the first consideration. Things to keep in mind when deciding where to put this. You will need 16 inches for the machine to fit. You will need 19 Inches of thickness when the top cover is open. You will need 24 hours of clearance to openLID. The machine is 14 inches high closed. Pressure cooking requires you to put the pressure lid on which is not connected to the unit. You can pressure cook, release the valve, do something inside, or change to a broil setting which requires that you remove the pressure lid and place the lid with the fan and heater on top to finish. The air is cold. There is an air fryer basket with this. The air can circulate around the pan. The oil is called BROIL. This is used to finish a recipe that requires SEAR. This is a simple task. I prefer my stove as it is quicker for me and the machine takes longer to heat up. The book can be used to set the settings of STEAM, SLOW COOK, DEHYDRATE, YOGURT, and BAKE. How does this perform? There is a I decided to try frozen sweet potato fries after seeing the overwhelming appearance. I was shocked when I got them done. This was the best result I have gotten in any of the air fryers I have used. When following instructions, there was a perfect balance of both. What have I accomplished so far? I decided to make other things after that. Here is a partial list of what we have done so far, and a quick evaluation of the sweet potatoes. The peaches were full of flavor and the crumble crust was great. The result was worth it at first. Chicken and patties. Absolutely the best I have ever had. We have used a lot of different methods. I have to search for the lost book in the house because we plan to do yogurt soon. We have used this for a number of paleo andgluten free recipes and it works well. STILL NERVOUS? Don't buy a bunch of books. They all look like they were written by someone who barely speaks English. You should look around the internet for videos or other recipes. Am I happy that we got this? I will not play that down. You have to have a lot of counter space and you also have to think about the steam that will be coming out of the pressure cooker. It's not possible to have anything above the place you use it in, which will be damaged from steam being all over it. We are going to put the Ninja Foodi in its place after the harvest season because we want it for the winter. It's really handy to have something that makes so many things easy. It's not nice to have to put it away all the time. It is hard to carry around. I think this is one of the best things we have gotten. One of the Ninja Coffee machines, a Shark Vacuum, and the original ninja chopper are what we have so far. This is very close to those in performance so far. It takes up a lot of room, but it is worth it if you are cooking for more than two people. I will warn you that you should only use wood or unsalted utensils on your food. You want to make it last as long as possible because this coating can chip easily. When putting the different rack and air fryer container in it, be courteous. Cleaning. Cleaning is the last topic I will discuss. Cleaning this is not a snap, but it is not hard. You have to take the time to do it. The pans can be washed. The air fryer container is easy to clean. The top grate over the fan has to be wiped down before it can burn. The pressure cover has to be wiped down and cleaned too. The bottom line. This is large and a bit overwhelming at first, but it is worth it. If you treat it carefully, you can get some amazing performance from it. You will be happy if you use care with utensils, read instructions, and clean it. This is a great unit if you have a room to put it in. My rating is five stars. I am glad I didn't let the intimidation stop me from moving forward. The food in this is very good and easy to make. There is no doubt about it. This appliance is great in the kitchen when the oven is too hot. It is a plus that it is included in the stove/oven for Thanksgiving and Christmas and other holidays.

Brand: Ninja

👤I ordered this as an "opened box" deal. If the blades are not secured at the top and bottom, it will chip the container. All the way to Amazon! Poor shipping and handling caused the chipping to the inside. There is a It's not versatile because it only does the same thing every time, and you can't change it. There are three different sizes of cannisters, but only one setting. It is powerful. If you want to make a margarita, chop nuts, assault cauliflower, or another one, you have to make it before it's too late.

👤I loved this so much that I realized the plastic part in the center of the lid that fits around the stem wore off, meaning the plastic was grinded off by the machine. This is not safe. When they were more expensive, I bought 2 sets. A waste of money. There is a I was going to buy a Ninja bender from the local store, but the one I bought did not have the stem that turned in the center by the power from the top, and a piece of broken plastic fell from it. I returned it. I will never buy a Ninja Food Processor again. Cheap plastic. I have a small food processor that works the same way, with the stem in the center turning while in use, and the power is at the top of the lid, and never had any issues with plastic wearing off. There is a cover underneath the turning part to protect it from falling into the food.

👤I am very sorry that I bought this appliance. I missed the chance to return it. I was misled by the box that said hassle free returns. Why don't I use this? I didn't understand that it didn't have a button to stop or start. You have to put pressure on the lid. It would be distressing to use it for people with compromised arms, like me. I am giving away mine. They might make the operating instructions clearer so people know what they are ordering.

👤When I decided I wanted to make my baby's food myself, I did a lot of research on the best blenders. I was going to buy a Beaba Babycook Pro 2x. There were a lot of bad reviews. I wanted to spend more on a Vitamix for making baby food. That's when I found Ninja. The low price point made me a little skeptical. The Master Prep Professional was given a try. Just wow. The blender is amazing. I've been using this unit for over 3 months. It may not seem like a long time. It is when you use it daily. This bad boy can handle any challenge. There are a lot of vegetables, like carrots, sweet potatoes, bananas, cheese, and tofu. I could go on and on. It can make a puree of everything. It can be raw or cooked. The machine works well for hot food. I remove my food from the steamer and begin to blend in the Ninja. I would add a formula to help the puree blend to a thinner consistency. I blend food without adding liquid. You will get the same results if you blend this way. The only thing I found was to remove the blade and use a spatula to blend the food, then push the blade back in to finish it. All three containers blend food evenly. The food is moved around the container by the blades. If I'm mixing a lot of food, I'll stir it by hand. The setup comes with 3 different containers. There are one small-2 cup container, one medium-5 cup container and one large 6 cup container. Each container has its own blade. The containers have 2 tiers of blades. The large container has a blade. I usually use the largest container. I make food in large batches. The smallest container is perfect for whipping up a single serving. I can blend just one fruit. The blades won't just push the fruit to the side. Adding liquid to the pitcher with the pouring spout on the medium and large container is very easy. There is no need to remove the lid. I just lift the flap and pour the liquid into the pitcher. The Ninja is easy to use. There is only one button that you can use. I put the blade into the pitcher, snap the lid on, attach the motor on top of the pitcher, and press the button. Other reviewers have stated that you don't have to blend your food. I have never had an issue with the button being held down for long periods of time. The rubber on the bottom of the container is non-skid. Two of the containers have spouts. And handles. It's nice to have baby food in my freezer trays. It's easy to clean. The blades are not stuck to the ground. It's much easier to clean than a traditional blender. You have to care for the blades. The bad boys are very sharp. If you're not careful, they will tear up your fingers and dish brush. When mixing, there is no leaks. I have the pitcher to the top. The next thing I love is that you can pack these pitchers full of food and the food will still blend as nicely as it would being half full. The price is amazing. I don't like the fact that this blender won't puree berries to a smooth consistency. It won't crush the seeds. The texture will be grainy no matter how much you blend or how much liquid you add. This issue will be found in almost every blender outside of a Blendtec or Vitamix. There are only two containers with storage lids. I would like each container to have its own lid. The non-skid rubber on the bottom does not stop the blender from moving. It will be on my counter when I blend. The pitchers are made of plastic. I would love to have a glass option. There are many nooks and crannies in the mixing lids. The Ninja Master Prep Professional is the best for the price. It's good for making baby food. I would highly recommend.

Brand: Ninja

👤I am very happy with the Ninja oven. I have used air fryers before, but felt limited with their small baskets. I was encouraged to try this ninja because of the convenience, short cooking time and ease of clean up. You guys! It is amazing. I am impressed. The different cooking tools they ship with this. There's a mesh tray for fried okra or chicken and a slide in tray for pizza or veggies. A crumb tray is used to catch excess. The interface is easy to use. I read the directions, but they are easy to follow. Even without reading them, you could figure it out. 3rd. It cooks with no smell. I had a problem with other air fryer. It smelled bad when cooking. No off smell with this. 4th. This unit is bigger. I can make enough for my family. It's footprint is larger but it can be lifted up to store in a vertical position. Then locks it in place. There is a Also, there is an interior light. Kids love looking at goods. The ninja keeps everything warm after cooking. After every use, it is wise to wipe the glass and everything down. You can hear the fan as the unit cools down. The cord keeper is on the back. So...hello tidy! The front opens to clean it. I took pictures of the entire unit. The most amazing pizza I have ever made! The crust was very good. My kids and I agreed that it was the best.

👤We are impressed with our first air fryer. It cooks the food fast and without oil or grease. The food should be better. In 40 minutes, we cooked 7 drumsticks. - It is easy to use and can cook almost anything. It can toast bread in a pinch, looks good and can be stowed away, without taking too much space on the counter, but cleaning is necessary after every use. grease was all over the inside of the chicken drumsticks and sausage/vegetable assortment that we cooked, especially on the top side and on the top heating elements. I used Clorox degreasing wipes and went through about 5 before the inside was clean. The bottom heating elements cannot be cleaned. There is no easy way to get to the metal covers. The first time we made chicken, we didn't install the bottom grease catch pan. Definitely use that. The booklet they provide has the cook times slightly off. The inside of drumsticks need at least 10 more minutes to be cooked if they are to be served at 400F. The bottom of the chicken will not cook properly if you flip it halfway through. Your results may vary because we used a different type of chicken. The anti stick pan will warp at 400F after being taken out of the fryer. It goes back to its normal dimensions after it's taken out of the fryer. The food is delicious, it is very fast, and it is healthy.

👤I jumped on the new Ninja product when I had the chance to try it. This unit is very versatile and doesn't let down. You get the main unit, crumb tray to line the bottom, wire rack for toast, bagels and holding the sheet pan or other accessories from the box. Air fry, Air roast, Air broil, bake, Dehydrate, Keep warm, Toast and Bagel are some of the functions it has. You can see how things are going with the internal light. Powerful 1800w of power means fast cooking, and more cooking space than most fryers. A full healthy meal in one pan takes 25 minutes. Back counter space is given back when the flips are up and out of the way. The housing is sleek and black. There is a limit of height where other smaller units can accommodate larger items because of the rack system.

10. Ninja DZ201 2 Basket Technology Stainless

Ninja DZ201 2 Basket Technology Stainless

There are 2 independent kayaks. The original Air fryer with 2 baskets lets you cook 2 foods at the same time, eliminating back-to-back cooking like a traditional single-basket air fryer. The finish and match cook are smart. You can choose between the Smart Finish feature, which allows you to cook 2 foods at the same time, and the Match Cook button, which allows you to copy settings across zones for full 8-qt capacity. 6 versatile cooking programs: Air Fry, Air Broil, Roast, Bake, Reheat, and Dehydrate are included. There's a language called XL caPACITY. The 8-quart air fryer capacity allows you to fit both sides and mains at the same time for quick family meals. There are french fries or chicken wings. Two separate 4-quart zones have their own cooking baskets and fans. Easy to clean baskets and plates. Less fat is achieved by using traditional air frying methods. The fries were tested against them.

Brand: Ninja

👤My wife and I have owned a few air fryers. We use them every day. Two at a time. The concept is great. The counter looks sleek. If you have only owned small air fryers, I would recommend buying this one. The air fryers cook evenly. There are 4 quarts in each container. It isn't all usable space. It's mostly in height. The cooking area is very small. The DZ201 container is the larger of the two containers shown in the pictures. The T-bone steak can be cooked with the AF 100. It's not possible in the DZ201. It would have to be small. The Ninja air fryers have a plate inside the container, not a basket. The plate can fall out when you dump hot stuff. Other brands make it easy to empty the hot contents from the basket.

👤This is the best kitchen appliance I have ever purchased. It is the best of all worlds. I bought 4 of them, including gifts for our grown children. They love their dual basket air fryer and use it all the time. I own the one basket Ninja and immediately noticed the issue of preparing different courses of meat and veggies. You have to figure out how to get everything hot at the same time, because different foods take different times and temperatures. The dual basket solved that. I returned the big Foodi because I didn't like it. It was difficult and clunky. If the pressure cooker is being used, I don't like the two lids that are required. To get the hang of it, you have to read a manual. It must be committed and eventually mastered. Many people love it when I join Facebook groups. Since there was only a single basket again, it didn't solve the issue for busy workers who wanted a healthy meal quickly. Many air fryers have multiple cook options. This is the one to get because of the dual basket cooking. Drop the food into each basket, enter the cook method and time for each basket. The smart finish automatically syncs up the 2 sides so the foods finish cooking at the same time. If you want to make a lot of one thing, the 2 baskets can be combined to 8 quarts and there is a quick setting to copy the cooks settings to both baskets. You can either set cook time and temp for each basket individually or just copy the settings so they are the same. Either way, the food will finish at the same time if you just drop the basket and plate into the dishwasher. Meats, veggies, fresh and frozen foods can be made. There is a broil rack option that raises the food closer to the heating element. I will get it. It is out of stock. Since it is brand new, there are no other options, so you have to check out the options for other small baking pans. The sizes are available on the market. The Ninja is not a microwave where you have to be careful, so any pans that can go in the oven can go in the Ninja. No extra pans were needed, but some optional pans could expand baking options. I don't have them and I'm happy with what's standard. It is so easy. Highly recommended. A+.

👤I am on the fence about this product. We use the cups daily. They work well. The only problem I have with the blender is that it can't clean the bottom. If there is a nasty build up you need to use pipe cleaner or scrubbers. The 64 oz food processor bowl is a disappointment. The same situation with the cleaning, but I realized that 3 out of 4 of the screw sites that attach the bottom piece were broken through. I only used it for a couple of months. If you make butter or dough, look for something that is more durable. I only saw this when I tried to clean the build up. The product has a limited warranty on time and products included. The processor bowl was not covered under the warranty, according to customer service. I called during the warranty period, so they will make an exception this time. You can get additional warranty through Amazon if you purchase it. The product does fulfill my needs, but it has some manufacturing and durability flaws that I would not purchase again.

👤The positives were far outweighing the negatives when I read the reviews. I thought to myself that I would be able to get my money back if something went wrong. I was upset. I bought this for my wife. The food processor cracked just after the return window. We dumped all of it because we were concerned that the baby's food might have been contaminated. I reached out to the manufacturer after I found out that it was outside of the return window. Guess what? The food processor does not have a warranty. I wonder why. Read the reviews. We needed a replacement for this to break a few days outside of the return window. They denied me and offered $65. Alright, fine. Do you want to rip me off? I will reach out to Amazon. Surely they will help me. Wrong. Again, I say... Wrong. The Amazon support lady was very nice and tried everything she could, but the best she could do was offer a 20% discount on the new food processor part, which was $65 or so. They wouldn't budge. I made a purchase that I thought would protect me from any malfunction since we went through Amazon, but it wasn't. The product broke and neither Ninja nor Amazon will replace it. I have no recourse after being ripped off. $130 down the drain. I warn you if you are considering purchasing this. If it doesn't work for you, your money is wasted and you have no recourse. It can be a few days or a few months outside of the return window. My recommendation is to look elsewhere, not just for the lack of quality and support, but out of principle.

👤This happened today, when crushing ice and a small piece of avocado and a small piece of banana for a smoothie, in a 72oz pitcher. A large piece of the pitcher just flew out of the pitcher at a high rate of speed, without warning. There were no cracks in the pitcher. There was no warning. We are very thankful that it missed the person using the Ninja. We only had this Ninja for a couple of months. This was a huge shock.
