Moss & Stone offers top quality food processors, a 1-year warranty, and top of the line customer service, which you won't get with other brands that sell small food processors. Chop, mix and puree every day. Simple, one-touch operation. The bowl has a pour spout, handle and locking blade. It is lightweight and compact.
👤This leads on it. Are you serious? Kitchen aid recommends you to wash your hands after touching this, because I want this to prepare my baby's food. Is it a joke? It is supposed to help you prepare food. Do you have to wash your food after you're in this chopper? So angry about it. Returning this.
👤These plastic parts are flimsy, and my first impression was that. I had to take it apart and put it together because I was afraid of breaking it. Everything worked out. The first thing I tried was a snack. When my old processor worked fine, I couldn't figure out why my hummus recipe wouldn't work in the 3.5 cup mini food processor. KitchenAid really misnamed this thing. They overstated the size of the container. If you have 2 1/3 cups of liquid, the 3.5 cup container will overflow. The center pole is less than 2 1/2 inches high and has a hole in it. The sides are 3 inches high. It will overflow through the middle if you go over 2 1/2 inches. It doesn't hold 3.5 cups of dry ingredients. I tried. If you go all the way up to the top, it holds three. You wouldn't process anything that went all the way up to the top. If you took out the blade assembly, you might be able to fit 3 1/2 cups of air in the thing, but thats a ridiculous way to measure. Who uses a food processor without a blade? I didn't think I'd get 3 1/2 cups of usable capacity, but I did. The instructions state that the capacity can be up to 1.5 cups of liquids, up to 2.5 cups of cooked fruits and vegetables, and up to 3 cups of nuts. I would have bought a different model if I'd known that liquids were limited to just one cup. Anyway. I've used it a few times and it works. It is also quiet. Give Chop a chance. Sometimes it does a better job than Puree at pureeing ingredients. Some ingredients don't get a chance to move because Puree spins so fast. There is one other thing. Before you use it, wash the blade and bowl. There were two metal splinters on my blade. That is not a dig at KitchenAid. Pre-wash anything that may come in contact with your food.
👤Negative reviews are not something I like to write. The mini food processor is one of the worst products I have ever owned. The cover has a safety feature that makes me fight with it for 10 to 15 minutes before I can get it to work. After putting the top on and taking the top off, I threw it in the garbage. I have owned other brands that are easier to work with. Sorry. I will not be buying any more KitchenAid products.
👤I bought this food processor because it matched my decor. The lid on the processor is difficult to remove and off. I don't have the packaging and it's no longer working after 2 weeks. I can not return it.
The process is easy to clean and dishwasher safe. If the machine has a quality problem, they will solve it for you. The industrial motor is an invention. The R101BCLR is built with a fan-cooled motor that spins at 1725rpm for consistent food processing results. A quarter clear bowl. The 2.5 quart. A clear plastic bowl is great for mixing up small batches of a single ingredient or for processing multiple ingredients together at once. It is easy to hold. The bowl assembly has a smooth "S" blade that allows you to chop, mix, and emulsify. It's easy to keep your unit's cutting edges razor-sharp with the included honing stone. A scraper is used to clear food debris from a bowl. Simple switches for "ON" to "OFF" take all the guesswork out of processing, while a "PULSE" option allows for more precision control when you need it.
👤This is the most potent food processor on the market. It makes nut butters in a few minutes. The delicate herbs are not affected by the Pestos in one minute. The ingredients blend smoothly. Simply add and press the on button, no need to use a spatula. All will be smooth. It's easy to clean, easy to assemble and disassemble. Don't waste money on other things.
👤This is a very powerful helicopter. Its design is basic and practical. No frills. The plastic on the bowl seems to be better than what you would find on other things. It feels like that. Maybe different types of plastic. It's quite good and we've used it 6X. If you're interested in that, it doesn't look high-end, but it is a beast.
👤A full service food processor was what we were expecting. This machine only slices. It cost $39 to return it to the vendor. I will never buy from a vendor that requires this again. Stay away from this vendor and read the details carefully.
👤This appliance is a workhorse. It takes time to get used to it. It takes a lot of strength to open and close the jar. I was afraid to use so much force in the beginning, but I'm getting used to it. It would be better if it had a handle on the bowl. To get the bowl to open, I have to wrap my arm around it. The power it creates to puree and pulverize food is worth the high price. I've made mashed sweet potatoes, chili sauce from canned chile beans, and a few other things, but I think my Vitamix does a better job. I think the processor will become my second appliance after my Vitamix. If I get a different opinion from using it, I will update later. I saved for a while and researched for a long time before buying this robot. The bowl cracked after I ordered the robot. It was perfect timing.
👤We used to chop cookies into "cookie crush" with a machine, but it only worked for a short time. We would buy another motor for the Cuisinart. The robot is more powerful. It doesn't break a sweat and grinds frozen cookies. It works great.
👤This processor is very powerful. It is more powerful than two other things I have owned. I use this to mix kneading and puréeing. I don't think you can get an accessory feed through tube, so be aware if you buy this model, it is dedicated to processing only not slicing or shredding.
👤I love my machine, but I can't afford the rest of the parts, so I stop trying to buy them.
Food processor, bowl, and blade were included. It's a super function. The miniprep plus food processor has a patented blade that can be used for both chopping and grinding. Control. The control panel is made of lightweight plastic and has an auto-reversing SmartPower blade. It is easy to clean up a motor base with a damp sponge or cloth. The work bowl with handle, spatula, and blade are included. Refer to the user manual for questions surrounding warranty policies and the limited 18-month warranty. The bowl has a handle. It's not a good idea to grind beans with this.
👤After reading reviews from cooking websites, I bought this to replace our old processor. I think it deserves the great reviews that led me to purchase it. It has a nice base weight. It is easy to remove the blade from the lid. Our old food processor had a problem with the food in the bottom not being processed. If you leave your finger on the button too long, you may end up with a purée that you don't want, but since I learned my lesson, it's worked out perfectly for me. The picture does not do it justice. It is easy to wipe down.
👤My Mini Prep went up in smoke after 40 days. This was the third time I had turned it on. There is a I had to pay shipping and handling for the faulty unit to be shipped to them. The garbage can was where mine went into. There was rust on the blades.
👤This is the second one I bought. The base was warped in the first and second instances. The lid wouldn't close in either case. The customer service is the worst. I was held for a long time and did not know how to close the lid. The agent hung up when I tried to explain the issue.
👤I bought this to make salad dressings as it has a cup on the top that can be used to pour oil into. The lid on my kitchen sink does not seal. A seal may be missing. Whatever the reason, it is junk. This is the second product that I've purchased and I'm disappointed with both. The other was a food processor that was able to shred a few batches of Zuchinni. Never again!
👤The blade on my processor may come loose and cause an injury if it is cracked along the edge of the spindle. I called Customer Service at Cuisinart and they didn't seem to care about that. They will not replace it unless I can prove that it was purchased within the warranty period. The cost for a new blade alone is fifteen dollars, which is half the cost of buying an entire new unit. I think they are more concerned with the long-term quality of their products. I'm wary of buying any product from Cuisinart in the future.
👤The Cuisiant I've owned is the same model. My children gave the first one. The plastic base became faulty after 10 years. I put it in the dishwasher. I hand washed the one I ordered from Amazon. It's not dishwasher friendly. The first time I used it, the liquid leaked from the lid. I didn't use it for a while. I pulled it out of the cabinet and it was a mess. It's a perfect size for one person. Cuisiant lowered their quality because they were disappointed. I have not used it in a while, so it's doubtful that the vendor will honor a replacement. I will let you know if they do.
👤Don't buy it. I wanted something small that I could use. I've used it three times, all of which were for liquid stuff. It makes a very loud noise, and I'm smoking a lot as soon as it's turned on. The bottom of the bowl is pushed to the corners because the blades are not well- positioned. I contacted customer support after smoking and INRDeals I've only used it three times, so I'm giving it two stars. Maybe there is something that this machine is good at that I can accomplish before it catches fire. It is easy to clean, if that is more important to you than chopping. I regret choosing this one over the Ninja Pro.
The most powerful kitchen food processing unit. The motor can process the toughest ingredients. Based on average selling price and rated wattage, it's under dollar 200. Performance blades and discs are used for restaurant-worthy results. Chop, slice, and mix all in one appliance. Food prep is easier with 4 preset programs that make it easier with 3 speeds. Chop veggies, shred cheese, and make smooth sauces and quick pizza dough or cookie dough from scratch at the touch of a button. The process of clefts is called the XL process. Whether you chop a few garlic cloves or an entire bowlful of ingredients, the 9-cup bowl will deliver consistent results. MIX IS DOUGH IN SECONDS. The dough mixer has the ability to fold in ingredients quickly and evenly, making up to 2 lbs. The dough was in as little as 30 seconds. There is stewardship in presence. The Inspiration Guide will help you create delicious meals. The parts are dishwasher safe and easy to clean. Simply pulse some warm water and a small amount of dish soap to quickly clean the bowl and blades.
👤After using low end processors for years, I decided to upgrade to a ninja and use food processors. I was very disappointed. The base wouldn't spin when the contents were in the processor a month after purchase. The ninja customer service team were unable to help me return it as the time period had just passed. They refused to support a product that cost over a hundred dollars. Don't buy this product!
👤If possible, I would recommend buying the extended warranty. I used this every day when I received it. It is a very versatile unit, I'm really happy with the attachment. I tried to turn it on for three weeks, but the lights started blinking, meaning it's not ready to go. This is usually a sign that you haven't locked it correctly. It was locked correctly and a piece of plastic in the lid was faulty, not pushing down on the base to set it into "operation mode" We were able to return this in 5 days. It's sad that only three weeks of use have left. I hope the second version is better than the first one. I think it's a really useful appliance. I'm really sad to be without it.
👤The first 45 days worked out well. I probably used it 10 times. The motor was dead when I used it. I can see that power works. The motor is dead. I'm about $120. It seems like my 30 day window to return via Amazon expired, so I'm looking into whether there's a manufacturer warranty or something. Buyer beware...
👤There are a few things that I'm not crazy about, but I wanted to give this 5 stars. The shredders are really fast. The motor is working well. The food tube feeders are too narrow for most veggies, you have to cut them down to fit. Cucumbers come out translucent, wish there were more disks. I use pule instead of chopping because it makes pieces too small. It would be great if it came with a spiralizer blade and a disk to make fries. I think they should add more features to make it more versatile because it can make dough for cookies and bread. I own several other Ninja appliances and recommend the entire line of products. Well made, reliable, and durable.
👤The variety of blades and the different speed options of the food processor are wonderful. The food chute is large enough to hold medium-large pieces of food, and narrow enough to not flop around. It's got a small engine and it's not loud. Food doesn't get caught up in the lid because the space between the shredding disc and the top is small. The locking lid and seal works well and the 9 cup capacity is generous. There is a cord keeper that works. There is a The blades don't go to the edge of the processor so it takes longer to reach a "puree" than any other unit I've used. Unless you use a long utensil, the double blades will make it impossible to remove sides completely. The unit does not nest very well when disassembled, making it harder to store. I have to store the base and top separately in my kitchen cabinet space. Unless you can put it in a ready-to-use position. The distance between my cabinet shelves makes this option impossible for me. The cups at the bottom are a nightmare. They don't really hold the unit down like you want, but "suck" just enough to make it annoying to move the unit once finished and to get it out from the cabinet. I will cut mine off. I made soup with a metal blade and pasta dough with a plastic blade. I shredded a pound of cheese. It took a little longer than my old unit, but all came out perfect. The bottom spinner can't be cleaned because it's in the basket. The metal blade is hard to clean. It's not easy to get your hand on it. You can see how long the puree option takes from my batches of pesto. There was no engine whine or engine smell. I'm happy with this and won't look to replace it anytime soon. It seems like a strong unit. The things that bother me are not a deal breaker.
Dicing kit and storage case are included. It is easy to use with a one-click, twist-free bowl assembly. It is easy to clean, sealed, leak-resistant work bowl. Convenient cord wrap and in-bowl accessory storage make it easy to store. There are 3 speed options and easy-press paddles. The reversible medium slicing/shredding disc and multi-purpose blade can be used to chop, puree, shred and slice everything from cucumbers to tomatoes, cheeses and more. The 2-in-1 feed tube is used to process a variety of shapes and sizes. The model KFP0718 has a 7-cup work bowl, lid, Multipurpose blade, and Reversible medium slicing/shredding disc.
👤This is my second KitchenAid appliance. I wanted to replace my cup because I loved the first one. This one is cheap and lightweight and does not chop well. I am not happy with this product. I would not waste your money. I use my previous chopper almost daily, but it gets a lot of food caught in the bowl between the shredder and cup lid. It makes more work for you and isn't worth it. So disappointed.
👤I already have a 12-cup Kitchen Aid food processor, however, I got tired of lugging it out of storage when I needed it, because it was too big for my counter. The machine would fit on the counter nicely. I use this appliance more often now. This model is very easy to clean. That's a big plus for me. I like how the lid fits on the bowl. If you are doing something with flour, the lid on the bowl will keep it out of your counter. I don't know if it's up to the jobs I use it for, but it does seem to be up to the job I do. I can speak for the quality now. I didn't have a processor for a year. It died in the middle of making cookie dough, but it didn't get much use. A food processor should be able to handle that. I really liked the design. I was expecting better from Kitchenaid. It's up to the job if you replace it with a Cuisinart. Don't waste time with this one.
👤I thought about what the bad reviews were about. It is easy to clean and the oil drips are great. I was making some chick pea blondies this morning, a day after I returned it. It died while pureeing the chick peas. The person is dead. Come on! What's the deal? The return window is a bit too open for Amazon. They aren't selling them anymore. So take it from me, buyer beware!
👤I have been using Kitchen Aid products for twenty years. I knew I had to get this red one for my kitchen when I saw it on sale. I gave my white Kitchen Aid to my daughter in law because her kitchen is white and it is still the same as when I bought it. When I received my package, I was very excited, but I didn't open it. The machine was not protected, there was no instructions booklet, and it was all very disappointing. I bought a refurbished machine thinking I made a mistake. I washed and set the machine up, but it didn't work. I tried on another outlet and the same thing happened. I checked my order and found a brand new unit, not a refurbished model. I was angry? I almost didn't order a replacement. I contacted Amazon and they sent out a new machine and the machine was free of charge for UPS to pick it up. I received the replacement today and it is brand new, even packaged differently than the first one, but I am so happy that it is brand new. This one works well.
No tools are required to maximize space on an existing shelf. It's powerFUL CRUSHING. The 72oz. The Total Crushing Pitcher is able to crush ice to snow in seconds for creamy frozen drinks and smoothies. The max liquid capacity is 64 ounces. The 8-cup food processor bowl can make up to 2 pounds of dough in 30 seconds. 1500 watt of performance power is used to make your drink-making experience unique. On-the-go discussions. Two 16-oz. bottles. The cups are perfect for making drinks that are rich in vitamins and minerals. BLADES FOR ANY TYPE OF ACTIVITY: The pitcher, Dough Blade and Chopping Blade, and Nutri Ninja Blades are part of the Stacked Blade Assembly. MIX IS DOUGH IN SECONDS. The dough mixer can make up to 2 lbs of dough in 30 seconds. There is stewardship in presence. The Inspiration Guide is a collection of 31 recipes that can be used to make delicious smoothies, frozen drinks, and more.
👤I am on the fence about this product. We use the cups daily. They work well. The only problem I have with the blender is that it can't clean the bottom. If there is a nasty build up you need to use pipe cleaner or scrubbers. The 64 oz food processor bowl is a disappointment. The same situation with the cleaning, but I realized that 3 out of 4 of the screw sites that attach the bottom piece were broken through. I only used it for a couple of months. If you make butter or dough, look for something that is more durable. I only saw this when I tried to clean the build up. The product has a limited warranty on time and products included. The processor bowl was not covered under the warranty, according to customer service. I called during the warranty period, so they will make an exception this time. You can get additional warranty through Amazon if you purchase it. The product does fulfill my needs, but it has some manufacturing and durability flaws that I would not purchase again.
👤The positives were far outweighing the negatives when I read the reviews. I thought to myself that I would be able to get my money back if something went wrong. I was upset. I bought this for my wife. The food processor cracked just after the return window. We dumped all of it because we were concerned that the baby's food might have been contaminated. I reached out to the manufacturer after I found out that it was outside of the return window. Guess what? The food processor does not have a warranty. I wonder why. Read the reviews. We needed a replacement for this to break a few days outside of the return window. They denied me and offered $65. Alright, fine. Do you want to rip me off? I will reach out to Amazon. Surely they will help me. Wrong. Again, I say... Wrong. The Amazon support lady was very nice and tried everything she could, but the best she could do was offer a 20% discount on the new food processor part, which was $65 or so. They wouldn't budge. I made a purchase that I thought would protect me from any malfunction since we went through Amazon, but it wasn't. The product broke and neither Ninja nor Amazon will replace it. I have no recourse after being ripped off. $130 down the drain. I warn you if you are considering purchasing this. If it doesn't work for you, your money is wasted and you have no recourse. It can be a few days or a few months outside of the return window. My recommendation is to look elsewhere, not just for the lack of quality and support, but out of principle.
👤This happened today, when crushing ice and a small piece of avocado and a small piece of banana for a smoothie, in a 72oz pitcher. A large piece of the pitcher just flew out of the pitcher at a high rate of speed, without warning. There were no cracks in the pitcher. There was no warning. We are very thankful that it missed the person using the Ninja. We only had this Ninja for a couple of months. This was a huge shock.
S-Blade for chopping was included. A 450 watt motor and 2 speeds save you time and money. A simple function guide is printed on the food processor for ease of use, and the Stack and snap design requires no twisting or locking. The bowl has a sealed design that helps prevent leaks when mixing liquids. H X 9.60 W X 8.76 D; all food zones are free of BPA. S-blades, shred discs, slice, shred, mix and puree are just some of the things that can be done with a spatula. The big mouth feed chute is great for whole foods because of its easy processing and less prep time. The function guide shows you which blade to use and which button to press. Food processor, bowl, and blade were included.
👤I have been afraid to write this review. There are some things I love about this processor. I have put it through its paces. In the past week, I have sliced, diced and shredded, churned butter from cream, emulsified yolks and oil into mayonnaise, and mixed cold butter with flour. My cat ran for cover from the "sounds like a wood chipper" motor after I churned butter from cream. If this cheap machine didn't hang with the big dogs on my projects. For the first day, I could picture writing a review about how the lower blade is too high, so trying to do small batches would be a challenge. shredding cheese meant having more than usual big chunks leftover because the upper blade was a little too low. The ease with which I could take apart the pieces was wonderful. The motor did get the job done. I realized the flaw when I washed it. The safety tube that runs the vertical length of the product and forces the food pusher to be in place before the blades can be turned on is a problem. Small bits of food can get caught in the solid piece if you use slicing and dicing. I think I would be ok with the few times that I used it, taking 10 minutes with a tooth pick and heavy stream of water, fiddling until I could get it to wash through and out the temporarily propped open minuscule opening. The problem is that the water can not evaporate even when the water is hot. Air cannot circulate to dry the area when the machine is in pieces. The health hazard was created when water droplets remained in the tube after I washed the FP. The tube cannot be dried. Health hazards are a deal breaker, especially for the price point.
👤There is a problem of dangerous food in prisons. The Stack and snap's riveted blades allow food to enter between the top and bottom blade areas. Every time the blade is turned on the chopped or pureed food enters the chambers and is impossible to clean. The food rots until the next time the blade is used. I chopped Italian sausage and vegetables. I thoroughly cleaned the unit with plenty of soap in hot water and made sure the safety locking mechanism areas were clean. I used the stack and snapped two weeks later and noticed a foul smell. I washed it and narrowed it down to the blade. The blade was dripping. I shook the blade and the puree came out. I washed it in hot water and it still stinks. Many people complained of rotten smell on Amazon. It can make you sick. Don't use this blade if you have it. Take your blade to the warm water for a few minutes and smell it. This blade needs to be recalled.
👤This food processor is amazing. It's nice to not have to spin it. Looks strong. I don't have to worry about storing the grating plate and blade in another place because they are in the unit. The cord is short but there is a cubby in it. Even on a wet counter, the cup feet keep it in place. It was in a plain cardboard box, and I love that. I didn't have to fill up my trash with styrofoam or plastic bits because it was packaged securely. I had an issue with taking it apart. I was nervous to pull the blade because it was stuck inside the machine. I made sure there wasn't a button or anything from the owner's manual, and then gave it a yank. It came out and looked like the packaging had stuck to it. You can pull that out, but be careful because it's super sharp. I changed it to: I've been using this for 6 months. I went to shred white chocolate and it broke. The plastic piece that holds the blade in place has snapped. It surprised me since I've eaten a lot of vegetables. I send an email to Hamilton Beach since it has a one-year warranty, but like most small appliances, the warranty requires the customer to pay for shipping and the food processor for Christmas baking season. This didn't last very long. My mom's food processor is older than I am.
Measures 5-4/5 by 6/1 by 9/1 inches. The work bowl has a 13 cup capacity but only 8 cups on the exterior. The disc has a 10mm grid and a cleaning tool. SealTight Advantage system seals bowl and locks blade. The patented blade lock system. The parts are dishwasher safe. There are two pages in the User Manual that contain the Troubleshooting steps.
👤I was excited when I got this food processor. The veggie noodle maker attachment was purchased by me. I sliced, diced, and whipped. I didn't mind that I had to put all the pieces and parts in a cabinet or that I couldn't use it without getting every blade and attachment dirty. The drive shaft stopped working after 3 months of use, but I don't mind. When you push the speed button, the center spindle will turn once or twice, then stop. The motor would keep running. I was sure that a company like Cuisinart would stand behind its products when I bought the FP-13DGM Elemental 13 Cup Food Processor. It comes with a 3-year warranty. The machine will not be replaced and you will have to pay to send it to their factory to fix it. The machine is three months old. They told me to call Amazon and see if they would replace it. I asked the warranty representative to email me the instructions to return the unit, but she said I had to go to their website and email their email service department. The company that doesn't care about their customers' experience is Cuisinart.
👤The piece at the bottom of the workbowl that connects the driveshift in the bowl to the motor in the housing was made by the people responsible for this useless paperweight. "But wait, doesn't that mean that the connection can loosen through use with the result that the motor spins the bottom part and the top part is stopped by the friction of whatever it is trying to do?" Yes. Yes, it does. Thank you. You have a bright future in food processing. The people who made this train wreck designed an amazing display of worthlessness, but it failed to grate a block of cheese after three uses. Use 1: Grated cheese. It worked out fine. The dicing blade can be used for an assortment of vegetables. It worked out fine. The blade was used on some cheese. It worked out fine. Try to grate some cheese. The grating blade did not turn. I tried again after checking all the connections. Nothing. There is a I cleaned everything and tried to grate cheese again, but I was very careful to follow all directions and check all connections. Same result. There is a The bottom of the drave transfer unit in the work bowl can turn on its own. I marveled at the warped and deranged brain that would ever engineer something so stupid in an appliance that relies on the clean and effecient transfer of power from the base to the blades. I am happy to know that I own a piece of galactic history, even though I am annoyed that I will have to replace the workbowl on a regular basis. The design team responsible for this piece of sculpture masquerading as a kitchen appliance will fall into a space-time vortex and be warped backwards in time and across the lightyears until they are deposited on the island of Sirius. The early works of that legendary team will be valuable one day. The Vogons came because of revenge for unleasing that company. Also a possibility. It would be better to bury this in the backyard and deny I ever owned one. I'm going to try to buy a replacement workbowl in hopes that the next one will last long enough that I can get an even dozen uses out of it, before I give up and buy something from a company that is capable of designing something. Wishing me luck.
In Japan, the popular snack is "Daissho", a snack that is easy to digest. They are perfect for afternoon snacks, coffee breaks, office and family gatherings, and can be easily shared with family, friends and colleagues. Bowl scraper attachment. The sides of the bowl have a special attachment that is used to keep ingredients close to the blades for more even results and to save you time when chopping or pureeing. The generous 10 cup bowl can hold a lot of food and not have to stop to empty it. A large feed chute can fit a whole block of cheese for quick processing and less prep time. A food processor can be used with a vegetable chopper and with a s-blade chops. The food processor's low and high speeds plus pulse give you the control you need for a variety of recipes. S-Blade for chopping was included.
👤The reviews and videos of the food processor were great when I was researching, but when I used it as I wanted, it did not retain any splash, I am not sure if I got that. My other two units that I used for years did not have a seal and did not have the leak spilling problem.
👤My food processor was too small for some of my recipes. The reviews seemed to agree with the bill. It was a major disappointment. When it is used full it will overflow through the middle area. The on/off switch won't turn after 1 year. My 30 year old Black and Decker had to be pulled out of the middle of a recipe.
👤The plastic pieces broke after several years when I tried to replace a Cuisinart. I thought I would save money, and after reading the reviews on Hamilton Beach, I thought it was worth a try. I was wrong. This is the worst food processor I have ever used. Yes, it has two speeds, Fast and Super Human, but they don't work when you are trying to grade cheese. Everything will be butchered and not the way I wanted it, because it came with only one blade. I replaced a good quality product with a piece of garbage in order to make my wife mad. Don't purchase this item if you love your wife. Even though Amazon usually has a 60 day return policy, the return button is missing, so it's even worse.
👤Our previous processor was less than 3 cup. This one is very similar to the Dark Ages. It has done everything well so far. It was used to make the dough of 2 pumpkin pies. Do not Over Process - keep your finger on the pulse button, that's what I have learned. The pies turned out perfect with the correct amount of processing time. The pulse and selection are too fast. The caveat in processing time would have been better if the availability of a slower speed for making dough was available. There is a slight problem with the slicer. It slices fairly well, but it slices in different ways towards the last part of the item. It's not that great for presentation purposes. I thought I'd point that out. A good value for a good processor. Will report back if there are any problems. So far, so good.
👤Even though it says it is a 10 cup bowl, you can't fill it over the level of the blades without it leaking. The lid has no seal so any liquid that reaches it will come out. I called Hamilton Beach and they said that even though this isn't specified on the box or advertizing, it is in the booklet that comes with it. The bowl scraper that I thought would be a useful feature only comes to the top of the blades, so if you can only fill it to there, it is useless. They wouldn't do an exchange or a refund, and recommended I buy another product. That won't be happening.

It can be used for chop, slice, whisk and knead, or even get a boost of vitamins with the attachment. The pre-set speed function of the dual control system ensures immediate and very even results without ramping up through all speeds. You can choose to start processing at any of the 11 speeds. 👤I have never had a food processor before, but always used Borner mandoline for shredding. I waited a couple of weeks to write a review after buying this processor. It took me a while to get used to it. I used the chopper, juicer, and whipping attachment to shred, slice, and mix cake. I have thoughts and notes on how the processor works. The low cost plastic ones are better than the expensive high-speed juicers, but not as nice. It takes me 30 to 40 seconds to get all the juice out of an orange. The slicer works on hard vegetables, like carrots and beets. It is easy to slice apples for Apfelkuchen. I have to use Borner for onions. The shredder is great for carrots and beets. I liked shredding different dishes with both of the shredding attachments on my processor. After shredding carrots and beets, wipe the white plastic part with oil to remove the coloring. Some reviewers had noticed that after shredding something there was a small piece stuck between the disk and the plastic cover. It doesn't bother me, as with any shredding system, you have some small pieces of the vegetable left. The whipper whips as expected. There are five I like it a lot. It doesn't make things worse, you can still taste small pieces, which is important for some dishes. It doesn't blend and I couldn't see any small pieces of mango, so I finished the work with the stick blender. mashed potatoes are really mashed and perfect. The chopper works great for cake dough. It worked well for pancake batter and a few cakes. The processor is very quiet. I like the design and think it's not bulky. It is easy to clean up. Everything interlocks very securely. The parts are of different shapes and sizes, which might make it hard to store them. I found a way to store it so it doesn't get in the way of the kitchen, and the parts go into smaller containers that go on the same shelf. I wish the instructions were more specific, so that you can make some examples of recipes you can use, and what you can use for it. I hope my comments will help you make a decision.
👤I have used food processor for 40 years. I ordered the Braun because I was frustrated trying to find replacement parts. It has a continuous and intermittent on function, but the Braun allows you to control the blade speed. I like this feature. You can remove the blade from the Braun and not worry about a leak in the center hole. The blade mechanism of the Braun is different. It's much quieter than my other processors and it's easier to clean.
👤Everything was great and then it was into one great product. The old Kitchenaid had things I hated. The cover had grooves that were hard to clean and Braun no grooves to catch food. When I blended liquids it was all over because my kitchenaid was not leakproof. This feature is wonderful! It's really helpful that the speeds are adjusted. Does everything from slicing and chopping to whipping cream. This processor has many different options. Storage is much easier with just the blades, rather than having 5 separate blades with pads attached. It runs very quiet. This is a great product.
The large and small chopping/ mixing blades with the blade lock system are included in the accessory storage case. The UC Cubic Feet are 0.92. It is suitable for most households, especially for party throwers. It is large enough to handle a lot of different tasks, like chopping beef and making dough. The 1000W motor is perfect for cutting hard ingredients up efficiently. It is a good choice for a gift. Anything special is possible with the unique Digital Touch Panel. The food processor has an embedded timer. 3 Preset Auto-IQ Programs, smoothie & meat chopping & ice crush functions are surprises for you, which free your hand for a specific job without keep watch all the time. The food processor comes with a 7 variable speed control mechanism, which is made possible via only one switch. The pulse function allows the product to chop food in addition to the management of the blade. The Magiccos Food Processors FP416A product package includes a chopping blade, dough blade, spatula, shredding blade disc, reversible slicing blade disc, and mashing blade discs. The bowl and all of the blades and discs can be washed in warm soapy water. The base cannot be washed by the dishwasher. The last thing you want to do is cook.
👤The machine is powerful and versatile. It is easy to use and clean and it has safety features. It makes food preparation quicker. Each attachment has a purpose. shredding, dicing, etc. The machine does the work of several appliances, so I was pleasantly surprised that it included a dough hook. I thought the food processor was more versatile. It worked perfectly and I am very happy with it. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a food processor.
👤I was going to buy a brand that was more expensive, but I saw this on Prime Day and decided to try it. I was so glad I did. Since we've had it, I've used it to make dough, chop, slice, and grate, and I've been happy with everything I've made with it. I've had no problems setting it up, locking it and choosing settings. The pulse function can be used to get the right size pieces. The on/off feature works well and the pre-programmed settings are really useful. I believe the one for smoothies could be used to make soups and tomato sauce. It's easy to clean and I like the feet that hold it in place. The disks are held in a disk holder that makes it easy to change and store them. My old food processor left a chunk of whatever you were slicing or grating. This one cuts or grates the whole thing. I was going to spend double the price on an expensive food processor when this one did everything I needed.
👤The blender does a great job of chopping up food. It does an excellent job of making puree and other things. It takes time to get used to the controls. You have to turn the blender from low to max power every time. It has a lot of accessories to give you different kinds of blend. You should make sure you have a big blender. If you are not going to make a lot of food this may not work out. You can make a lot of different foods with this. I use it to make fried shrimp balls for my family. It's a good way to make some burger patties. It's a pretty well made blender, it gets all the food blended with getting blocked or unblended, so you won't get a lot of food. The process of cleaning the blades is easy, but you should be careful when removing them as they are sharp. I air dry everything and do a sponge wash. I make sure to dry metal off. The attachments are easy to clean up, but be careful as all the pieces are sharp. This does a good job of pureeing. It does quick work of most foods you put in and it's nice that there is an opening to add more. I could add fruits or meat without turning it off. I am able to make some dips in a matter of minutes. There are a lot of settings that are programmed. The buttons are sensitive. You need to adjust the intensity knob every time you use it. You can see which mode you are in with the led light indicators. You can use the blender. They are printed well and should not wear down. They are easy to wipe down and clean if you accidentally eat on it. It is hard for food to get inside because there is no gaps. The container is large so you can process a lot of food at once. If it is packed tightly, it becomes harder for the chunks to be broken down, so I would not recommend trying to over fill it. I can make a smoothie from frozen vegetables and ice. The lid stays locked so you don't have to worry about it falling open. You could just turn the blender on and leave it there. You can use a timer to turn the device off when you need it to. The push down tool stays on. It is expected of a powerful appliance like the blender to be loud. It is not something you want to be doing early in the morning. The blade should be close to the bottom. If there is a big gap between the bottom of the blade, it will not cut. There are two things that can stop the blender from turning on. The container needs to be locked onto the blender as well as the lid. The device won't power on if there are loose ones. Installation and instructions are easy to follow. This is a good way to blend large amounts of food. Expect it to make quick work of most food because it has a powerful machine. It has a feature that protects you. The controls take time to get used to, but I don't like the idea of having to set the intensity every time.
