Brand: Braun

👤I have never had a food processor before, but always used Borner mandoline for shredding. I waited a couple of weeks to write a review after buying this processor. It took me a while to get used to it. I used the chopper, juicer, and whipping attachment to shred, slice, and mix cake. I have thoughts and notes on how the processor works. The low cost plastic ones are better than the expensive high-speed juicers, but not as nice. It takes me 30 to 40 seconds to get all the juice out of an orange. The slicer works on hard vegetables, like carrots and beets. It is easy to slice apples for Apfelkuchen. I have to use Borner for onions. The shredder is great for carrots and beets. I liked shredding different dishes with both of the shredding attachments on my processor. After shredding carrots and beets, wipe the white plastic part with oil to remove the coloring. Some reviewers had noticed that after shredding something there was a small piece stuck between the disk and the plastic cover. It doesn't bother me, as with any shredding system, you have some small pieces of the vegetable left. The whipper whips as expected. There are five I like it a lot. It doesn't make things worse, you can still taste small pieces, which is important for some dishes. It doesn't blend and I couldn't see any small pieces of mango, so I finished the work with the stick blender. mashed potatoes are really mashed and perfect. The chopper works great for cake dough. It worked well for pancake batter and a few cakes. The processor is very quiet. I like the design and think it's not bulky. It is easy to clean up. Everything interlocks very securely. The parts are of different shapes and sizes, which might make it hard to store them. I found a way to store it so it doesn't get in the way of the kitchen, and the parts go into smaller containers that go on the same shelf. I wish the instructions were more specific, so that you can make some examples of recipes you can use, and what you can use for it. I hope my comments will help you make a decision.

👤I have used food processor for 40 years. I ordered the Braun because I was frustrated trying to find replacement parts. It has a continuous and intermittent on function, but the Braun allows you to control the blade speed. I like this feature. You can remove the blade from the Braun and not worry about a leak in the center hole. The blade mechanism of the Braun is different. It's much quieter than my other processors and it's easier to clean.

👤Everything was great and then it was into one great product. The old Kitchenaid had things I hated. The cover had grooves that were hard to clean and Braun no grooves to catch food. When I blended liquids it was all over because my kitchenaid was not leakproof. This feature is wonderful! It's really helpful that the speeds are adjusted. Does everything from slicing and chopping to whipping cream. This processor has many different options. Storage is much easier with just the blades, rather than having 5 separate blades with pads attached. It runs very quiet. This is a great product.

2. Robot Coupe CL50 Continuous Processor

Robot Coupe CL50 Continuous Processor

SLICING AND ATING. The machine comes with a slicing disc and grating disc. There are over 40 discs available for this unit so you can handle any vegetable prep task. The power motor is powerful. Brand: Robot Coupe

👤This machine is heavy. It is very fast once you set it up. We use aluminum foil to cover the discharge dish and chute to prevent splatter. It is easy to clean up.

👤It works great for grating cheese. We saved thousands of dollars making our own. Highly recommend this unit. The build quality is second to none.

👤The company is incredibly frustrating to deal with. After 4 weeks, I'm still jumping through hoops.

Brand: Magiccos

👤The machine is powerful and versatile. It is easy to use and clean and it has safety features. It makes food preparation quicker. Each attachment has a purpose. shredding, dicing, etc. The machine does the work of several appliances, so I was pleasantly surprised that it included a dough hook. I thought the food processor was more versatile. It worked perfectly and I am very happy with it. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a food processor.

👤I was going to buy a brand that was more expensive, but I saw this on Prime Day and decided to try it. I was so glad I did. Since we've had it, I've used it to make dough, chop, slice, and grate, and I've been happy with everything I've made with it. I've had no problems setting it up, locking it and choosing settings. The pulse function can be used to get the right size pieces. The on/off feature works well and the pre-programmed settings are really useful. I believe the one for smoothies could be used to make soups and tomato sauce. It's easy to clean and I like the feet that hold it in place. The disks are held in a disk holder that makes it easy to change and store them. My old food processor left a chunk of whatever you were slicing or grating. This one cuts or grates the whole thing. I was going to spend double the price on an expensive food processor when this one did everything I needed.

👤The blender does a great job of chopping up food. It does an excellent job of making puree and other things. It takes time to get used to the controls. You have to turn the blender from low to max power every time. It has a lot of accessories to give you different kinds of blend. You should make sure you have a big blender. If you are not going to make a lot of food this may not work out. You can make a lot of different foods with this. I use it to make fried shrimp balls for my family. It's a good way to make some burger patties. It's a pretty well made blender, it gets all the food blended with getting blocked or unblended, so you won't get a lot of food. The process of cleaning the blades is easy, but you should be careful when removing them as they are sharp. I air dry everything and do a sponge wash. I make sure to dry metal off. The attachments are easy to clean up, but be careful as all the pieces are sharp. This does a good job of pureeing. It does quick work of most foods you put in and it's nice that there is an opening to add more. I could add fruits or meat without turning it off. I am able to make some dips in a matter of minutes. There are a lot of settings that are programmed. The buttons are sensitive. You need to adjust the intensity knob every time you use it. You can see which mode you are in with the led light indicators. You can use the blender. They are printed well and should not wear down. They are easy to wipe down and clean if you accidentally eat on it. It is hard for food to get inside because there is no gaps. The container is large so you can process a lot of food at once. If it is packed tightly, it becomes harder for the chunks to be broken down, so I would not recommend trying to over fill it. I can make a smoothie from frozen vegetables and ice. The lid stays locked so you don't have to worry about it falling open. You could just turn the blender on and leave it there. You can use a timer to turn the device off when you need it to. The push down tool stays on. It is expected of a powerful appliance like the blender to be loud. It is not something you want to be doing early in the morning. The blade should be close to the bottom. If there is a big gap between the bottom of the blade, it will not cut. There are two things that can stop the blender from turning on. The container needs to be locked onto the blender as well as the lid. The device won't power on if there are loose ones. Installation and instructions are easy to follow. This is a good way to blend large amounts of food. Expect it to make quick work of most food because it has a powerful machine. It has a feature that protects you. The controls take time to get used to, but I don't like the idea of having to set the intensity every time.

4. Cuisinart DFP 14BCNY Processor Brushed Stainless

Brand: Cuisinart

👤I've used my Cuisinarts for a wide range of uses, and I was really excited to get a new model, I couldn't imagine cooking without one. I have decided to throw away the inferior product. Every time I use it, at least 1/3 cup of any mixture remains lodged beneath the blade, and only ingredients around the outer edge are adequately mixed, so that I end up pouring out the contents and stirring them by hand. The redesign of the lid makes it difficult to clean, so that residual food remains and makes this appliance dangerous. It's too late to get a refund, so I'm going to look for another food processor maker.

👤I haven't been able to use it in months. When you ask for a replacement part, you have to wait forever because the motor doesn't break but the plastic does. I was shuttled around from one operator to another when I asked them to replace the wrong part, because it was the wrong part. After 5 calls over 3 weeks, the part showed up, but it was the same one they sent me the first time. You have an expensive machine on your counter that you can't use. Not worth it.

👤I received this machine as a gift a week ago. It has been put to good use in my kitchen. I diced mushrooms, onions, shredded cheese, and sliced strawberries, apples, and tomatoes. They were all done well and didn't damage the food. This gave me shredded cheese, sliced fruits and vegetables, and mushrooms and onions that were just right for my soup. I was surprised at the speed at which it cuts the food. It is very quiet. The bowl was large enough to hold the whole block of shredded cheese. The large and small openings were used today. I was able to provide more uniform slices with the smaller feed tube because I was able to stack my strawberries in and keep them from tumbling around. I was able to cut my 2lb block of cheese into 4ths and have the whole block shredded in no time. I was able to turn my tomatoes sideways and get beautiful slices despite the larger tomato holding my whole tomato set in right side up. I took pictures and video along the way to show the processes and thicknesses of the blades. I bought some discs with my gift that included a thin slicing blade and thick discs. I used the shredding disc and slicing disc that came with the machine. I cut the strawberries with all three to show others how it would slice if they bought another thickness. The strawberry slicing video was included to show you how quickly it was diced and compared to the end product. The strawberries are sliced with a thin (2mm), medium (4mm), thick (8mm) disc and the one that comes standard with the machine. This machine is easy to use in my kitchen. It's easy to use. It has been a very efficient machine because I now have a feel for how to change the discs. I highly recommend.

5. Cuisinart FP 14DCN Elite Collection Processor

Cuisinart FP 14DCN Elite Collection Processor

The SealTight Advantage System is Patent-Pending and is Dishwasher Safe. The shredding disc is made of steel. Dough blade has a 20-year motor warranty. The large and small chopping/ mixing blades with the blade lock system are included in the accessory storage case. The UC Cubic Feet are 0.92.

Brand: Cuisinart

👤This unit is still going strong and I still love it! No issues have arisen. I have tried both of the machines and they both had their pros and cons. I wrestled with the decision. I'm happy that I ended up with the Cuisinart machine. There is a Dough button on the Cuisinart. The Breville is too fast and hard to make a decent dough. It was important for me to have the ability to make dough. There are two more The cost of the Cuisinart is substantially lower. I didn't think I'd use the French Fry, Julienne, and Whipping Disc that much anyway, even though it doesn't have the extra blades that the Breville does. The Breville did a poor job of cutting french fries. I wouldn't use a whipping disc. I can buy the julienne disc separately for the Cuisinart, but I might miss it. The julienne strips were overprocessed by the Breville. It didn't do a good job. The lid on the Cuisinart is better. It's very easy to put it on and take it off. You can remove the rubber seal from it now that it has been redesign. There are holes in the other plastic part of the lid that allow water to get in and help clean it out. Sometimes I need to remove the ring for deeper cleaning. There are four The retractable cord is better for me. The Breville had a cord that could be pushed back into the housing, but it wasn't retractable. The smaller feed chute pusher has a better shape than the Breville. The wattaage of the Cuisinart is higher. I preferred a slightly smaller machine. 14 cup is large for me. The design of the Breville was a little more attractive, with rounded edges. The design of the Cuisinart is not sharp enough on the corners, but it is a bit uncomfortable. The Breville was more comfortable to grab from a high spot, but the housing isn't weighted evenly, which makes it a little cumbersome to pull it out from a cabinet. I thought the Breville accessory case was better and had more accessories. The Breville has a taller feed chute. The shredding and slicing of the two units are the same. The difference between the Breville and the Cuisinart is minor, and I like the smaller shredding of the Cuisinart better. My parmaggiano reggiano cheese was too fine and powdery. The Dough button, affordability, and longer warranty helped me make the decision between the two units and I'm very happy with that choice.

👤Not so happy now. I experienced a dangerous failure after a month of moderate use. The off button failed, and all of the safety stops that prevent the food processor from running failed. The food processor ran until I unplugged it. It goes back to Amazon. I don't know if I will continue with another model after requesting a replacement. I bought this food processor at the beginning of November. I have used it almost daily since I haven't had it long, and I used it extensively to prepare Thanksgiving dinner. I bought this one because I took the chance. The older version of the food processor is described in many of the negative reviews. The unit that I received was the "latest, updated version" of the model, as there were two things that other reviewers complained about. The gasket in the lid was easy to remove. It was easy to clean the parts in the top rack of the dishwasher with a hand wash. The workbowl, lid and gasket are difficult to clean due to food sticking in the gasket and nooks and crevices in the rim of the bowl, or requiring a bottle brush to get the food out. The bowl/lid/gasket is easy to disassemble and reassemble, and it's easy to clean by hand or machine. I never had to do anything more than a light wash with a dish cloth or sponge and never found any leftover food particles in crevices on the rim of the bowl, even after kneading yeast dough that sticks to everything. The blue lights on the keypad that some have said are too bright, or blink erratically, is the second item that appears to have been changed. The lighting on my unit is more subtle. There are only two keys outlined with the blue light. Nothing lights up when the unit is plugged in. There is no blue light bar on the top of the buttons in the photos. The On and Dough buttons only light up when they are pressed, and they stay on solid when the function is in use. The off and pulse have no indicator lights. When the pulse is pressed, On illuminates, but it goes off again when the pulse is released. I found this food processor to be a joy to use, and the overall performance was good. It is powerful and quiet. The base is heavy and easy to wipe down. I've made yeast dough and pie crust, chopped nuts, shredded cabbage, chopped onions and tomatoes, sliced both soft and firm vegetables, and several kinds of cheese. The machine is powerful. It handled everything I threw at it. I found that by partially freezing my cheese for 30 minutes instead of the recommended 15 minutes, most of my cheese block would shred without any leftover bits between the disc and the lid. One or two small pieces were left behind. The food processor has things that I like. It's nice to have so many different thicknesses without having to buy more discs. It was easy to use, pull out the bowl and adjust the thickness, and resume slicing. The way the bladelocks into the bowl allows you to pour out the contents without the blade falling out. The pour spout is great. It's free of mess and drips. The way the lid is attached. It's so easy to press the little buttons to disengage. No trying to get everything to move. The power! It makes yeast dough in about 30 seconds. The cord is retractable. It should be compulsory on all countertop appliances. The small feed tube is not large enough. It was good for fitting an 8 ounce brick of cheese, but not good for carrots. If you try to shred a single carrot, the shredding disc will grab it and jam it between the lid and the disc. If you shred several carrots at the same time, everything will work. It would have been nice if the feed tube was a 3 piece with the existing two sizes plus one more small round that could accommodate a single carrot or piece of celery. The 4 1/2 cup workbowl was a little too large for liquids. I'm not sure if it's the shallow shape or the speed of the blade. It was fine with dry ingredients. It was a disaster. My pizza sauce recipe uses a 15 ounce can of diced tomatoes, less than half the capacity of the bowl, and it was a mess. It was necessary to disassemble and clean the lid and the outside of the unit before using the 14 cup bowl because a lot of liquid splashed under the lid and gasket. I've made this sauce in my food processor for years without any issues and I'm confident that it's a design thing and not a user error. Either the small bowl needs to be deeper or there needs to be a way to slow it down to keep it from being so splashy. The small bowl won't be used for liquids again. The accessory storage box has things in it. It's nice to have a locking box that will keep the discs and blades out of sight. It would be better if it could accommodate all of the additional blades. I would love to have a french fry blade in my set up, but I don't want to have to find a safe place to store it. Adding another inch or two to the height of the bottom drawer would have made it possible for it to hold more discs. I wish they had a bigger bowl. Sometimes 4 cups is too small, and 14 cups is too big. Sometimes it would be nice to have a bowl of 10 cups or so to slice onions and pepperoni before you put it in the 14 cup bowl. I used my old Kitchenaid processor a lot. Even if it had to be purchased separately, I wish this unit had the option. If we have to pull the gasket in and out all the time to clean the lid, it's going to wear out. The gasket is not a separate part that can be purchased. It is installed on a replacement lid. Hopefully that will change in the future. I still love this food processor even though I have a small bowl. It's a pleasure to use and a workhorse.

6. Cuisinart DFP 14BKSY Custom 14 Cup Processor

Brand: Cuisinart

👤I researched a good processor for 6 hours. I never thought I needed one. For the past two weeks, I have used this on every other day. It is the only appliance besides my coffee machines that I have on my kitchen counter. One reason I decided a good processor was worth looking into was to save me some wear and tear on my hands, because I do lots of cooking from scratch. I am glad I bought a 14 cup food processor because our meals are not huge and I have a husband and a 2 and 4 year old. This guy is my partner-in-crime because I am working more to cook and prep ahead of time. The things I most commonly make from this processor are hummus, sliced veggies, shredded carrots, and shredded cheese. I plan on making a lot of salads and dressing. I love shredding a block of cheese in 20 seconds flat. You can make it easier in your machine by freezing the cheese. It's not recommended to shred on mozzarella for pizza-making lovers. I saved time by slicing the carrots and celery in the chicken soup I made the other night. I feel like I am saving time and money with this machine. I was happy to find out that the large block of cheese fills up the entire container. A half head of cabbage would do that. For those who are curious, homemade hummus is a game-changer. I don't like eating from the store, but I can't get enough of Greek/middle eastern restaurants. You have to shell your chickpeas, which can be made easier with a little baking soda. The plastic on my counter looks great, but it isn't dark like the photos show. I think it is a bit darker than the clear plastic shown on the white models, which makes a beets stain stand out a bit less. This long review is giving me an idea of what to expect with this machine. I was worried about the 14 cup models since I was focused on the negative ones in the Amazon reviews, which didn't give me a clear perspective on things. Many people misuse these and don't bother to read the manual. I plan on having this investment piece around until my boys are grown up, so I am hoping to save myself a little bit of future knee problems by hand washing it and snapping it on. I say go for it if you are your first time food processor owners. Go for the cup that has 14 holes. I will have it added to the review if it is disastrous.

👤I did a lot of research before buying this food processor. I have been using this processor for a few months and I am completely satisfied with it. This baby is easy to clean and powerful. We use the processor a lot. 100% would buy again.

👤I can do more in the kitchen now. A rich carrot soup. The store bought hummus is from fresh ingredients. Cleanup is easy if you don't let the food sit. You should watch out for the blade. It was so sharp that it cut my finger when I bumped into it first time cleaning. The motor runs rock solid, never gets overheated, and handles rapid pulse without a hitch. The paddle controls are super responsive and super tactile. When on, only one speed.

Brand: Ge

👤I broke the lid on my old, white Cuisinart after 10 years of use. I wanted a new one but they were out of stock. The review on this GE looked good so I went for it, even though none of these people have had a Cuisinart. This thing came with a bare minimum of accessories, not even a scraper. The blades are too small. I make a lot of pesto and this one leaves the nuts pretty much all over the machine. My husband threw the box away. I thought I would like it over time. I will make it work until I feel good about spending the money to replace it. They thanked me for my feedback when I went to GE.

👤It worked. I could not return it to Amazon. It's a waste of money.

👤I contacted customer service to explain what happened. The food processor will be replaced during the review of the return policy. They provided excellent customer service. I use a food processor to make food. I have owned other brands. It was a welcome addition. The chopping blade won't spin as shown in the video. The slicer is unreliable, so it is not a useful product. I used it to make dog food and pies. It had an easy life, but wouldn't reciprocate the care taken with working. I am waiting for the seller to give me further directions.

👤The 24 year old Cuisinart Pro Custom 11 died the Monday before Thanksgiving and I needed to replace it. The GE is good. The motor doesn't seem to matter, even though it isn't as powerful as my old one. The GE does the same things. I never had to stop to fish out the trapped wedges from the slicing disc after I sliced a bag and half of celery. Ditto Zuchinni. It made a creamy smooth hummus, chopped my fresh cranberry/tangerine/apple/raspberry relish efficiently, and made a lovely pie crust. The mini bowl worked well for a lunchtime meal of anavocado, leftover onions, and a few cherry tomatoes. The S blade blends better when pieces are cut down, otherwise I have to pulse repeatedly. I overchopped onions because I had too many large pieces that didn't fit in the first few rows. The emulsifier is good. The GE is easy to use and clean. They are correct about that. I didn't really like using the Cuisinart. I'm thinking about all the things I'd like to make with this food processor. It's enjoyable to use. I like the work bowl. It's light, balanced and has a large handle. I don't have to worry about the S blade getting into whatever I'm pouring into. The S blade has a long shaft that is easy to grasp, and you can use it to remove food bits from the bowl rim. The discs, mini bowl, and shafts are ready to use. The feed tube is too narrow for potatoes. A bigger feed tube, a thicker slicing disc, and a fridge lid are all wished for. If GE made them as accessories, I would buy them. Set up, use, clean quickly. This is the most user friendly processor I've owned. A good value for the price.

8. Cuisinart DLC 8SBCY Custom Processor Brushed

Cuisinart DLC 8SBCY Custom Processor Brushed

Refer to the user manual for questions surrounding warranty policies and the product is free. Includes a new chopping blade, three discs of slicing and a spatula. It's ideal for making dough, slicing vegetables, shredding cheese, and mixing batter. The bowl is large enough for a family. The UC Cubic Feet are 1.07. Extra-large feed tube for larger slices of food. There are two slicing discs, a thin one and a medium one. Three-year limited entire unit warranty is a full motor warranty.

Brand: Cuisinart

👤The model I bought this for was the same model I bought in 1993. The device that I used for many years broke after 15 years of regular use. I decided to purchase a brand that was less expensive and was disappointed with its performance, instead of trying to buy a replacement part. I wonder why I waited so long to replace the knock-off with the Cuisinart. I have experience with the best food processor. It feels good. The rubber feet keep the base in place on the countertop. The motor can mix doughs. The discs are sharp and can be used for slicing and shredding. I like the addition of a low-profile lid to be used when mixing with the blade. The addition of the disc storage container to the set is very nice and I am very happy with it. Can't recommend this food processor enough.

👤The machine is very good with a stupid engineering decision on the main cover. The soft plastic "safety" device only partially depresses the "safety" switch. Since the other cover won't fit over the shredding plate, it won't be able to shred. I had given up on using the simple cover and chopping and mixing on the bowl. I tried to shred carrots with a shredder and main cover, but it didn't work out at the party. I put a piece of plastic above the safety device and another piece above the safety rod after an hour of experimentation. It worked very well because it was allowed to depress enough to work. This is ridiculous.

👤This is a good value, with lots of parts and a heavy duty motor. The design flaw makes it difficult to use slicing discs with large items like potatoes or large hunks of cheese because two of the pieces can't be separated. It's not a dealbreaker, but it was a dumb design choice and a step back from the last Cuisinart I had, which I accidentally destroyed.

👤It works, but not as well as our previous Kitchen Aid. My wife had an older cup. She used a lot of cans and bottles. We had to get a new cup because the Kitchen Aid lasted 10 years and there was no replacement part, but based on reviews, we chose this 11 cup. Tomatoes are one of the items my wife can't get enough of, she uses them in many recipes throughout the year. The first item she processed was this one. She said that it took her four times as long to process the tomatoes with the new Cuisinart than it did with the old Kitchen Aid. The result is still slower even though this is only a single item. After reading all the positive reviews, my wife and I decided to go with the Cuisinart. I don't know if the new Kitchen Aid has a weaker motor. It's a pain to pack all the Cuisinart and its parts back up and pay for return shipping. I just read some of the reviews for the 11 cup from Kitchen Aid. There are some complaints of a weak motor. Everyone is stuck with subpar performance out of the newer models. It seems like an opportunity for someone to produce a superior market and clean up with a processor that is capable of doing what it says it is supposed to do.

Brand: Cuisinart

👤A professional chef ordered this. Today is the first time that a simple pie crust has been used. The blades were being cleaned and I noticed some chips in the tip. There can be a serious injury and the company can be sued if the blades chip and someone eats them.

👤I've used this food processor three times. 1. The carrots were chopped with a blade. Fantastic! The chopped carrot has a very fine grain. It makes it so much more enjoyable to eat salads and add spaghetti sauce. The bowl had a slight orange hue but was washed off. The pie was made with the S blade. The flour flew all over the place. That is a great way to check if your food processor is waterproof. The flour came out of the processor. I will probably change the way I make the pie crust, but I will still use this appliance for it. It's easy and fast. 3. The potatoes were sliced with the blade. Wow! It works well. No mess, no slicing of my finger on a mandolin, and no more than a minute to 3 pounds of potatoes perfectly sliced. I love this food processor. If the grating blades are as effective as the slicing blade, I will be very happy. I received a food processor. It seems to be what I was expecting. It's perfect for a family of 5. It has a very simple design and feels sturdy. I don't like it when appliances have a bunch of different functions that don't add value. The food processor is small and straight forward.

👤This food processor has everything that I like about it. I have made dressings, made hummus, chopped veggies, and made other things from it. They all turned out great! It is relatively easy to clean, you can put it in the dishwasher, but I feel that takes too much space. It can take a little longer. Baking is the only complaint I have. When I put flour in the machine to sift or mix for pie crust, the flour comes out the sides of the machine and gets all over the counter. The lid is locked and the tube is inserted. I put a towel over it to try to stop it but I can't see what's happening inside. It is a good product for most things you would use a food processor for.

👤15 lbs of garlic. We ordered this because we needed a lot of garlic. We need a faster way to process this garlic and so we bought this and no regrets. We ground the garlic in a lovely little grinder that we bought at the same time as the garlic, and dehydrated it, like the madness that possessed us to purchase it. It was easier to get the garlic out of everything than it was to get it out of my oven. It's dishwasher safe. I kept the little plastic piece and the little box that held the blades in order to store them safely. Ice cream now. We also bought fruit and garlic. We took some frozen fruit and ice and milk and made some ice cream. This was a great purchase and will definitely use it.

Brand: Ninja

👤After using low end processors for years, I decided to upgrade to a ninja and use food processors. I was very disappointed. The base wouldn't spin when the contents were in the processor a month after purchase. The ninja customer service team were unable to help me return it as the time period had just passed. They refused to support a product that cost over a hundred dollars. Don't buy this product!

👤If possible, I would recommend buying the extended warranty. I used this every day when I received it. It is a very versatile unit, I'm really happy with the attachment. I tried to turn it on for three weeks, but the lights started blinking, meaning it's not ready to go. This is usually a sign that you haven't locked it correctly. It was locked correctly and a piece of plastic in the lid was faulty, not pushing down on the base to set it into "operation mode" We were able to return this in 5 days. It's sad that only three weeks of use have left. I hope the second version is better than the first one. I think it's a really useful appliance. I'm really sad to be without it.

👤The first 45 days worked out well. I probably used it 10 times. The motor was dead when I used it. I can see that power works. The motor is dead. I'm about $120. It seems like my 30 day window to return via Amazon expired, so I'm looking into whether there's a manufacturer warranty or something. Buyer beware...

👤There are a few things that I'm not crazy about, but I wanted to give this 5 stars. The shredders are really fast. The motor is working well. The food tube feeders are too narrow for most veggies, you have to cut them down to fit. Cucumbers come out translucent, wish there were more disks. I use pule instead of chopping because it makes pieces too small. It would be great if it came with a spiralizer blade and a disk to make fries. I think they should add more features to make it more versatile because it can make dough for cookies and bread. I own several other Ninja appliances and recommend the entire line of products. Well made, reliable, and durable.

👤The variety of blades and the different speed options of the food processor are wonderful. The food chute is large enough to hold medium-large pieces of food, and narrow enough to not flop around. It's got a small engine and it's not loud. Food doesn't get caught up in the lid because the space between the shredding disc and the top is small. The locking lid and seal works well and the 9 cup capacity is generous. There is a cord keeper that works. There is a The blades don't go to the edge of the processor so it takes longer to reach a "puree" than any other unit I've used. Unless you use a long utensil, the double blades will make it impossible to remove sides completely. The unit does not nest very well when disassembled, making it harder to store. I have to store the base and top separately in my kitchen cabinet space. Unless you can put it in a ready-to-use position. The distance between my cabinet shelves makes this option impossible for me. The cups at the bottom are a nightmare. They don't really hold the unit down like you want, but "suck" just enough to make it annoying to move the unit once finished and to get it out from the cabinet. I will cut mine off. I made soup with a metal blade and pasta dough with a plastic blade. I shredded a pound of cheese. It took a little longer than my old unit, but all came out perfect. The bottom spinner can't be cleaned because it's in the basket. The metal blade is hard to clean. It's not easy to get your hand on it. You can see how long the puree option takes from my batches of pesto. There was no engine whine or engine smell. I'm happy with this and won't look to replace it anytime soon. It seems like a strong unit. The things that bother me are not a deal breaker.

11. FPC 100 Complete ChefCooking Food Processor

FPC 100 Complete ChefCooking Food Processor

The power motor is powerful. The unit's powerful motor is built to industrial specifications so it can handle the demands of a busy restaurant kitchen. The magnetic safety switch and motor brake help keep the operator's hands and fingers safe. Cook all in one bowl. Chop, mix, Puree, Knead, slice, shred, and whisk are some of the processing functions. Risotto is a cooking function that includes Sauté, Simmer, Slow Cook, Steam Proof dough, and more. 18 cup bowl made of steel.

Brand: Cuisinart

👤I bought this product for its large bowl. The motor is underpowered, but it works. The cooker is not the same as the other ones. It emits toxic fumes that smell like burning plastic. The first time I used the burned connection, it was between the bowl and base. There is a I can only use the food processor side of the cooker. A big, underpowered food processor is expensive. I don't recommend spending a lot of money on an inferior product.

👤I love this product. It is easy to follow and clean.

👤I'm a kitchen nerd. I can't keep up with a new kitchen gizmo or a new cookware item. The dealers in Canada were not allowed to sell in the US at that time, so I ordered a Canadian version of the cooking appliance. I still use it. I own a lot of things, including a cooking mixer, a food processor, and a blender. When combining appliances, a food processor and a cooking pot seems to be the most logical, but when I saw this offering from Cuisinart, which is the first attempt to combine a food processor with a cooking pot, I thought it was crazy. It was expensive, but there were some things that intrigued me. It was very easy to return it because I bought it through the Bed Bath and Beyond membership program. I decided to take the Borscht test with it. Borscht is an Eastern European delicacy that's served chilled. Borscht is usually made with the chopped, shredded or sliced beets. I like shredded, which is one of the things that intrigued me about the cooking food processor. I peeled three tennis ball sized beets, quartered them, and fed them into the machine using the shredding disc and food processor lid. The beets were shredded nicely. The red juice from the beets got into the crevices of the food processor lid because of the fancy locks that tell the cooking system not to work with that lid on. I couldn't remove the red stains. You have to pull the shredding disc and the spindle out to cook with it. If you want to stir the Borscht while it cooks, you need to dump the beets into a bowl, place the stirring tool in the bowl and dump the shredded beets back in. You have a food processor lid, a shed disc, and a cooking bowl. A regular bowl and a cooking lid are needed to clean. This isn't efficient. If you want to adjust the stirring speed after starting the cooking cycle, you have to start from scratch. I noticed a burning smell as I cooked the Borscht. I stopped the machine and found that one of the electrical contacts on the base was starting to burn. I dumped the Borscht into a stock pot and finished cooking it on the stove, cleaned the unit, packed it up and returned it. Poor design, poor quality, dangerous product. It was very bad. I can help you redesign this terrible product. I will do it for nothing. I don't think anyone on your design team has any idea how to cook units like this. Add some weight to the base. A higher temperature range is a good thing. It makes it possible for actual browning. I suppose some people would like that design, it's terrible, clunky and has built in recipes. It's difficult to remove and attach the cooking lid, as well as the food processor lid, and making simple things is not simple, and those are the people who don't need a food processor if they want to cook for one or two people.
